In 2006, Roger Federer had not only one of, if not the greatest season of his career, but one of the greatest seasons in tennis history. He won 3 out of the 4 slams and finished with a 92-5 record which is approximately a 95% winning percentage. 4 out of his 5 losses that year came to a young Rafael Nadal, 3 of which were on clay and all were in the finals. The one time Federer failed to make the tournament finals in 2006 was in Cincinnati where a 19-year-old Andy Murray caused one of the biggest upsets of the year beating Federer in just the second round. What makes this upset so improbable was the anomaly of a result it was on Federer’s year as well as the fact that Federer has demonstrated impeccable results in Cincinnati winning there 7 times. This was also a young Andy Murray before he was the household name he is today. Now, sit back, relax, and enjoy these highlights from the match.

MURray dominated Fed for his first few years on tour. Fed won their first match n 2005, but then Andy won 6 of the next 7 to make it 6-2. Andy was also ahead 10-6. Roger didn't even the score until 2014
