I didn’t mention it in the video, but some of the fish, that came on deck, spit up some baitfish that were nearly identical, in size and color, to the wrench.

Generally 7 foot rod, 2500 size reel, 15lb braid, 10-15lb leader. I love Stradics, but have sold all mine now, I just use a 2500 size Shimano Sedona and a Shimano Catana Rod (2-4kg or 3-6kg). The Shimano Sienna is also a great reel for the money (I have a few of them too).
@@marxfishing yeah thanks atm ive got about five siennas and shit rods but looking to upgrade rods and reels, thanks will have a look at the catana's and had my eye on the sedonas for a while now, thx
The wrench/spanner setup was was follows; 1/4 inch, 5/16 inch, and 10 mil wrenches. Purchased new for $1.99 each. 50lb braid, tied directly through the ring (in the wrench), then down to a hook. I did 2 of these at different lengths on each wrench. I then tied the main line directly to the solid ring on the wrench, with a loop knot. I will do a video showing how I rigged it, but in the meantime those are the basics.
Was wondering when. Next video was coming awesome , I see you found the salmon lol on a wrench 😂😂🤣😂 ... Maybe the vibe was a different small size as the bait fish as to why it didn't work ??? Good video cheers
Reedy's Rigs, I really should have mentioned in the video, once the salmon hit the deck, they were spitting up bait fish the same size and color as the wrench. It was incredible how well the wrench matched the bait. That’s why is was getting eaten, even sitting on the bottom.
Hammering the fish on a spanner! That salmon saw your wrench, drilled it, then went nuts and bolted. But Stihl, the question remains...will a Flathead take a Phillips-head?
Nice one mate. I have seen that done before on Ifishtv catching a snapper. Goes to show if they are on the bite they will have a go at anything that is small and moves.

Finding Joe, I think it could... but could be hard in Port Phillip, Snapper in other places respond to lures and jigs much better than the one ones in Port Phillip. Only one way to find out.
