Congrats on the new addition to your family and your new home. Thanks for being transparent in your successes as well as in your struggles. I believe a lot of us have that in common...albeit it might be different circumstances...but still we're trying to make it all the same. I'm afraid to pull the trigger and fail because I have a good paying job with benefits working for one of "the Big 3" in the automotive industry. However, it's taking away so much time from my husband and caring for my elderly mother. Not going to give up, though. Thanks again for sharing.

Just do it! This job is running your own business. You can work as much or little as you want. You can take a 3 day weekend and have more time with your family etc

Everybody is quiting sprinter cargo van buissnes is dead no money because of skyrocketing prices of gas&diesel insurance maintance parts low low rates and big big scammers brokers ..this is the real story 30 years of experience in this industries and talking to everybody every day..thanks

I can answer that. In short, yes. However, you're going to be limited on the work you can do and will have to break down some pallets to make the load fit, then palletize again when you reach destination. Also, this is a biggie, the Chevy Express and Ford E350 have the V8's so you'll be spending way more on fuel that will cut deep into your profit. My recommendation, wait a month or so for used vehicle prices to drop, trade the express for a Ford Transit with a mid or hi roof. My 2nd choice would be the Ram Promaster. Avoid the Mercedes/Freightliner Sprinter. They're not very reliable and you'll have a hard time finding a certified (overpriced) mechanic if you break down in the desert (or anywhere else for that matter). I know two guys who had to have a Mercedes and one regrets it, the other is so concerned about the badge that he endures it in spite of the flaws. The Transit is the most reliable in class, they're cheaper, cheaper to work on and there's a certified mechanic with a free schedule in every single town.

when you ask who is your support system let me tell you its none of us do this write this on a piece of paper and tape it in the middle of your steering wheel on the side of your bathroom mirrors on the screen saver of your phone "GOD WILL NOT GIVE ME NOTHING I CANT HANDLE, GOD IS MY SUPPORT SYSTEM, GOD BLESSES ME EVERY MORNING TO WAKE UP AND HANDLE THE GIFT OF A BETTER LIFE AND FINANCIAL FREEDOM" isnt this what you asked for? i have this posted in all my routine stops through out my everyday schedule all the negativity and pressure goes out the window like lighting, why cause this is what i asked for why am i complaining it might be hard now but i will figure out how to make my bumpy road smooth again
