I watch this video at least once a day, what do I love these boys, what talent, what generosity and what good humor, from France, I carry you all 4 in my heart, all the time! ❤️😉❤️
Another version better then studio, guitars, vocals are deep, you feel like you're in the room with the sounds being more surround then the studio version. Tremendous job, if you like what you heard support what you heard I will.
We like to think of these session performances as a complement instead of a competitor to the studio versions. Our hope is that you'll be able to enjoy both--each being a unique exploration of the song. (But we're also REALLY flattered that, if you had to choose a favorite, you'd choose us 😬 ) Thanks, Andy!
@@OurVinyl Gotta say as much as the originals are AMAZING, these sessions really bring the band to life. The editing, the sound, the backdrop, the band's performance, I don't think I've ever seen anything come close
Can I just say that whoever your audio engineer is: pay them more. My main gripe with modern folk music is the mixing and mastering, but every single one of your The Dead South releases makes the studio version sound like it was mixed by a man with one ear.
We aren't out to compete with studio albums from our featured artists, but we do appreciate the comment about our engineers! We've got some really talented folks on the OurVinyl team. Cheers!
