When you see a boat that’s being tossed about, well that’s just beautiful.” That’s probably the most romanticized explanation of why the fishermen love their work, and are passionate about it. Also, it’s why people are fascinated by all of it.

the good 'ole P-Bar.. Lots of memories in that bar. Hit up Ernie's bar during the day, have some good conversations with tourists and then spend the evening at the P-bar. I love Sitka!

We gona have to get more of handle nets that get away,posibly nets with somekind of material that can be detected above or below the water,say perhaps the fishermen and wildlife rescue people ,can retreave these lose nets .with the tools and know how in turn help there livelyhood and inturn help sea life as well .the fishing

Got a question for any of you who have commercial fished sardines; Are they trying to catch the sardines pre-spawn, as they are spawning or post-spawn? I would have thought they wouldnt fish them until after they had spawned and the next generation was guaranteed
