The Dear Hunter is a fantastic and still super underrated band. Huge respect to Ryan’s association skills, that this song reminded him of Coheed and Cambria. Both have epic multi part songs with intricate stories. Both have gone on tour together a few times and there’s quite some overlap in the fanbase. So, yeah. I hope there’ll be more reactions to them.😃

It bothers me beyond all hell that there aren't more people appreciating and hearing them. They have been my absolute favorite band since 08 and I was lucky enough to see them for the first time with 30 people in 09 in Connecticut and they deserve so much more than any artist. Their discography has all bangers and no disappointments it fu king bothers me that they don't have the recognition they deserve

Thank you for listening to one of the best bands in existence. I've been listening to them since 08 and saw them a year later for the first time with 30 audience members in Connecticut. TDH is the absolute best

My understanding of the song here is that it chronicles the first night out for the main character who has returned from war, assuming the identity of a brother who did not make it back and just recently grieving his lost love. Powerful stuff.

The fact that this is the best band to ever exist and they get no promotion is insane to me. I have bee listening to them since 2009 when I saw them for the first time and they have never made a bad song in fact they as well as coheed and cambria and Bayside all can't write bad music and all deserve more credit. Thank you for listening to one of their endless artistic masteries

@@TheogvineofthedeadCoheed and Cambria is one of my favorite bands as well. I like Bayside, I only have one of their albums and definitely need to check out more of their music.
