The Cavs never really built the team around LeBron to compete for a championship in his first tenure in Cleveland. It wasn't until after winning 2 rings with the Heat and LeBron deciding to come back to Cleveland that the Cavs actually started getting serious about putting talent around him, which eventually led to the Cavs winning the 2016 Finals. Unfortunately the Cavs would eventually lose LeBron again to the Lakers a couple years after their Finals win
What is funny about the decision is espn’s reaction. It was preceded by TWENTY-FOUR hours of lebron coverage. After the overwhelming negative response. They acted as if they had nothing to do with it. In subsequent look backs and documentaries, they don’t even mention the special aired on THEIR network.
The most accomplished player in Franchise and THE REGION'S HISTORY!" Anyone who saw Jim Brown play would like a word with you, dawg..By leaving,TWICE, he is not even the most beloved local to play for his hometown Cleveland team, Bernie Kosar holds that honor. Only reason Bernie left was Hoodie hated him. Fans there were excited like no other that January when Kosar won a Superbowl with Dallas of all teams the most hated team in the NFL. When Lebron won in Miami I don't think anyone in Cleveland was thrilled for him.
If I'm gonna be honest here, the more I see this shit the more and more I get pissed at the 2009 Orlando Magic. The Cavs could've aimed for the jugular there, yes, but those fuckers robbed us of a potential juggernaut matchup of Prime LeBron and Prime Kobe. And what did they give us? *ONE WIN* and then getting their asses kicked six ways to Sunday. Frankly, that just showed there's now way in hell the NBA IS actually rigged- if they seriously did, LeBron would've shitstomped everyone THAT YEAR ALONE.
It really wouldn't matter he was gonna lose to Kobe anyway in 08-09 finals Kobe just came off a finals L and wanted to win that 4th ring 💍 badly and he did that Lakers still would of won in 5 maybe 6 but Lakers was winning against whoever that season 👌👌👌
Can you blame him? His rival for best player at that time Kobe got a prime Gasol. Celtics formed a big 3. And what did LeBron get in 7 years in Cleveland, a 40 year old Shaq? If I were him I would have left sooner, the cavs did nothing to support him.
LeBron leaving CLE in 2010 was the equivalent of a superior soldier going through SEAL hell week, having superior abilities to most people, leaving a training exercise and ringing the give up bell. You're still an amazing member of the service.. But you can't be called a SEAL.
@@Birenball I have issues with Lebron ever since he started faking injuries (basically every off-season he claims he's going to have to get surgery on something right after they lose) and faked a hate crime against himself to evade criticism for the Cavs getting swept by the Warriors.
@@pitongus KD joined the team that beat him in the WCF then became champions. Lebron joined a Heat team that were Champions already. Same ring chaising move
@@retz79lol what a clueless casual. The heat won in 2006 but then didn't even win a series from 07-10 😂😂 LeBron was losing to the celtics big 3 (08, 10) so he made his own big 3 to beat them. KD joined GS in 2016, right after they made the finals, won 73 games, KOd his bitch ass and won a ring in 2015. LeBron called his friends to help beat up his enemy. KD joined his enemy to beat up his friends. 2 totally different situations.
