+Agosto Rivera All good; everyone's entitled to their own feelings; in fact, you can't help having them! But just the same, thought I'd mention that Burt Bacharach himself loves this; in fact he loves the whole album it comes from; he spoke of it in reference to a question in an interview regarding whether he ever heard arrangements of his songs by others he loved, and he mentioned the album this comes from; as he remembered it 'The Hits Of Dionne Warwick'; why I'm here! It's my first time listening to it; literally as I write! It certainly is different to, I assume, the Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass version I imagine you're referring to; I think you may enjoy the video that brought me here, 'Burt Bacharach On Composing', posted by The Library Of Congress; he mentions The Dells just after the 37 minute mark; it's pretty in depth, and recorded in 2012; so quite recent; if you love Burt bacharach I'm sure you'll find it very insightful! Take care! Stevie! :-))) ...
