A lot of trans people end up discovering Ishtar, the ancient goddess that predates Christianity. She supposedly had the power to turn men into women and women into men. We need to found the New Cult of Ishtar. That way transitioning can be a legally protected form of worship.
There are quite a few religious frameworks which are compatible with pro-LGBTQIA+, wealth redistribution, and other lefty concepts - but I'd never gotten ANY leftists onboard with that. The right coops good things constantly, but lefties get scared/skeptical of coopting religion, thinktanks, militias, and other things they have been successful with. They'd need to take off their purity ring for that! ;)
Dionysus is also a god of trans identity, they are androgynous in and has elements of gender fluidity. They are also a god of freedom and liberation for oppressed peoples. Same with many other gods across the ancient world actually. Loki was a spirit that held elements of genderfluidity, Hermaphroditus was the intersex child of Aphrodite and Hermes, the gods in general didn't seem to have a concept of hetero or homosexuality because most of them chased the ones they fell in love with alone or where essentially pansexual. Ancient religion was based needless to say
No. They don't care about religious freedom for anyone but their particular sect. It's why they absolutely lose their minds at Satanists in particular.
In the Canaanite pantheon (the religion from which Judaism historically sprung), Asherah was El's consort. The Queen of Heaven. El was basically the Canaanite Odin (later merged with Yahweh when the region adopted monotheism), and Asherah was his main squeeze. She wasn't a demon, but another deity who got pushed out by monotheistic propaganda.
You say that she wasn't a demon, but I would not be surprised if Asherah was made into the demon Ashteroth. Both because of the very similar spelling, and the biblical "backhanded syncretism" of making other deities they didn't like into demons. *_Yes, God's wife is a demon - and he's trans!_* (comparative religion mic-drop moment)
So if we were to consider that all these religions are real, that there are massive conscious spirits with incredible power above us, the one whose got the three biggest religions (which are constantly, unendingly klling each other) may actually be the Canaanite God of War and Death. Crazy.
I hated religion and the Trauma it inflicted on me. Then I hated SJWs Then trans people Then I started watching Vaush And then Hannah bravely came out And then my best friend did too And then I came out. Today I am trans. We are not angles or demons we are people who come from flawed backgrounds and are just trying our best to survive and thrive like everybody else. Thank you for your support Jake. Thank you Hannah for being part of my growth.
If you're truthful then it feels like I'm looking at a mirror of myself. Not trans, or well not yet anyway I don't really know about that stuff. But it's comforting. Strange, but comforting. I like it.
@@tristanband4003I’m not sure if this is a genuine question, but if it is, Hannah use to be Jake’s friend. She and him recorded videos for The Bible Reloaded before this channel was ever active. Jake has a video on why he doesn’t associate with Hannah anymore.
I remember going to Mormon seminary that we had to do every morning and them tailing about Judges 19 and hearing the teachers, men, and women laughing and joking about the woman in the story getting r*ped and abused. I can't stop remembering it and I felt so dirty and wrong hearing them just making it as a joke. I'm not Mormon anymore and I never plan to besides many other reasons besides that.
Cats can also become depressed when someone they're close to dies. It's not uncommon for a pair of bonded cats to die one right after the other because one died from illness and the other just stopped eating. Or a cat with an older owner who passed gets adopted and it takes them months or more to really start acting like a cat again. You see it in dogs as well. I realize that cat depression was a minor aside, I'm just too autistic to stop myself.
This is interesting because when I write I like to make demonic characters that are gender fluid. But that's because I assume an immortal being would get bored with having only one gender, not because of some subliminal association with gender nonconformity and evil like this guy has.
@@HotDogTimeMachine385 Depends if you're embodying aspects or not. If you represent stagnation I'd imagine one's morals and viewpoints wouldn't change all that much.
Imagine living in a world where lunatics literally believe in demons, and have thousands of people happily nodding along as if their words are profound wisdom. Oh...wait...
The older texts that made it into the Bible included many gods, and some of it has survived despite attempts to change it. The abrabamic god was one Bronze Age sky (or possible mountain) deity of many, like the Greek pantheon. Around the time the Babylonian captivity would have happened, one god cult had grown to be the most prominent, and gradually into the only god that group worshipped. Learning history is such a wonderful way to be inoculated against or treated for faith.
Demons tell you: "Be who you want to be. Listen to doctors. Have respect and empathy for others. You'll be happier if you do that.". Don't fall for their lies! Suppress your nature, reject doctors' lies, scorn and hate those who don't follow God's teaching. This will lead you to true happiness. Source: "Trust me", B. Ro et al. 2024.
The references to Satan in the old testament are not to a fallen angel or a demon, rather an abstract personage of "the accuser". This wasn't likely meant to refer to anything more concrete than the general concept that someone somewhere could be questioning, until maybe the two or three centuries before the New Testament was written, possibly because of the later influence of dualistic religions in the region like Zorastrianism.
The earliest Christians believed that androgyny-a mixture of male and female characteristics-was the perfect, primal form of humans to which they would return in the afterlife. Through the ritual of baptism, they symbolically assumed nonbinary gender by clothing themselves with Christ so that “there is no longer male and female” (Gal. 3:28). Resurrected bodies will be neither male nor female: “For in the resurrection they neither marry [male] nor are given in marriage [female], but are like angels in heaven” (Matt. 22:30). Also gotta remind people of what Jesus said about Trans Men: “Look, I shall lead her so that I will make her male in order that she also may become a living spirit, resembling you males. For every woman who makes herself male will enter the kingdom of heaven.” Which is also fun since it clearly sees resembling Males does count as making them Male. There are also passages that imply every Trans Woman who has had Bottom Surgery also goes to Heaven. Which isn't to say Trans Women who haven't cannot still get into Heaven, but she would either need to Marry a Woman.. or Marry a Man (tho it might be possible you could have Intercourse with Men and not get Married and still get into Heaven depending on your interpretation). _____________ This guy clearly doesn't know his Bible and it's worth noting.. those Demons wouldn't be Trans, they might be Non-Binary.. but they would be Cis and Non-Binary.. like Angels..
I'd say the main difference between us and animals is that we can plan. Like, we have a concept of time and are cognitively capable of judging what to do based on that passage of time. And as in everything in evolution, this is not always a good thing. Someone that deals with trauma certainly isn't getting the most outta that deal lol.
6:04 Well he is talking about the KJV Canon Bible. The Judeo-Christians reject the Apocrypha ,which names the Holy angels, Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel, Camael, Jophiel, and Zadkiel. so, yes and no. Also, the leaders of the Fallen angels [different than demons] are listed as well.
I’d say that Christianity (And other patriarchal religions) justify patriarchy/systemic economic hierarchy more than being the source of it. I wouldn’t say that Religion is the source of the problem, but I would say that it is used to justify it.
I'm a gender fluid demon from the 7th ring of diablos hellfire (located far beneath the chapel in tristram) and me and the butcher were strategizing how to turn as many souls as possible so we can summon more imps and balrogs and we came up with this plan and brought it over to malthael and he laughed so hard I thought he was gonna pop frfr Anyway long story short Krispy Kreme donuts are actually what rips the soul from you, you just gotta be trans first for it to happen.
6:49 apparently it depends on which Bible you’re reading. If it’s the Catholic or orthodox Bible it’s 3, because of Raphael. But he’s not in all the Protestant bibles.
