for the apocalypse challenge they should make it so there's a list of people who beat the challenge and have the list be a list of patients at sunny meadows because you're all clearly insane :P
Imagine going back 2 years, back when Rev was the scariest and most difficult ghost in the game, and showing, without context, Insym saying "Revenant would be *ideal* right now, I want a rev" 💀
@@jayr5mitty351 Back in earlier versions of phasmo, Ghosts could not accelerate during hunts unless they had specific abilities to do so. This meant that every Ghost in the game at the time was as fast or slower than the player, and you could literally just outrun them in long corridors with no risk at all. The one exception of this was the Revenant. Revenant was the only ghost that would accelerate to be faster than the player (while in line of sight), so this meant that no one ever wanted a rev, especially not on large maps. Basically, imagine that you're playing on high school and you get hunted before finding out what ghost it is. But it's fine, because you know that you can outrun every ghost except one, and what are the chances of it actually being that one ghost? Then, the absolute terror of noticing that the ghost is getting closer and closer, and there is no time for you to hide because you had planned on just outrunning it. As you die, you shout through the radio to your team mates: "IT CAUGHT ME IT'S A REV JUST PACK UP AND LEA-" And most of the time, that's exactly what people would do if it was a rev. Leave and try again 💀
They did, Custom Difficulty. The push for the Custom Difficulty mode they built wouldn't have happened without Insym doing challenge videos for 2 years and speaking/playing with the Dev team.
The Custom Diff. is actually what you are looking for. Insym has been doing this custom challenges in the game, even way more ridiculous challenge than what he did in the video. i'm pretty sure Insym can do a lot of things with the game having an actual custom difficulty now and add it with his own creativity, the possibilities are endless.
I knew you would kick this up, Insym. You have proven that an 95 year old ghost hunter with one broken leg can be able to rival the most aggressive ghost with hyperactivity when he just uses all of his Knowledge to lure, smudge and survive the Hunts. Congrats on that, and also, i really hope they do something special for more then just three. Hey, CJ, What about you label one of the isolation cells with "Insyms Private Room"? Cause he´s truely a Madman^^
You know what is awesome about this? We can now use evidence tools for no evidence runs. Emf to spot ghost powers, temporature to find the ghost room (but also, no freezing clues, i think) and mimics might still have ghost orbs. We can use cameras to watch from afar, take pictures of doors, use glowsticks, and use books to bait out book kicking interactions.
Insym has already beaten the hardest challenge as of yet that Phasmophobia has to offer. And Sunny Meadows just came out today, and on his third try. The ghost Catiana Shawcross absolutely flew throughout the haunted mental institution with her broken spine not impeding her attack. Her bloodlust proved to be her downfall. Insym, even against all odds, against debatably among the most dangerous ghosts in existence, with just one good photo, survived. The only things that impede Insym now with this challenge is force him to... -Acquire the bone and a photo -Use just one smudge -Physically be in the ghost's room -Do this challenge on every map -Try to defeat Lisa -Survive against Michael Jackson -or Succeed against a ghost of every type Impossible? Maybe. But remember: this is Insym. He can do it all.

You inspired me to do this challenge and I've done it on x24 with my second attempt! I got a Hantu in the far west wing and man was it terrifying. It sounded like a machine gun going off when it entered its room. I used RU-vid videos of the ghosts footsteps and set the video to 1.5x playback speed to get the rhythm of the boosted speed attempting to get the fastest possible ghosts people recorded. Getting the EMF objective was the worst but this challenge was fun and fairly easy! The run ran about an hour and a half!
I didnt watch any videos on the update until the update dropped, i used the custom difficulty to explore the maps, and as much as ill miss asylum, im glad they gave us two options for Sunny Meadows
I was thinking it was a Polter ever since it almost killed you the first time. It was throwing several items per second during that hunt. Seems in line with the new Polter mechanics. Well done on realising it was early hunting :)
My first game of the update I went to the small campsite and got a polter without any evidence because i walked in and it threw 4 bottles off a table to the campfire sadly I died because I dont know the hiding spots yet.
HOLY HELL YOU ALREADY DID IT?!!? I didn't even think you could do this, I tried this by myself for giggles and I got insta hunted by a demon and killed. I lasted 1:51
@Insym: Did you already have a look through the window in the "secret room" in the lobby? There is person in the room wobbeling around :) looks like a ghost model standing in front of a mirror. Sneak through the window and watch into the right corner!

Incredible work I, similarly to the devs would have thought this was impossible and really want to give this a try, however i have been out of town for the past week so I guess that would be another reason to make this challenge like a community effort for many people to get some sort of credit for completing because by the time I get back from my trip 3 people are probably going to have completed the challenge lmfao
I know Insym has done the impossible many times... but this one, well, now I fully understand why he named himself Insym. It rhymes with Insane. You've shown that you have conquered this game to it's limits. Congrats! You deserve a cookie! :)
Devs come out with a new challenge called antinsym: ghost speed 420%, constant hunt once you enter the building, 0.2 player speed, no evidence, no light source, 9 ghosts on the map at the same time each that are different, no items at all, blindfolded, chat = ears, the map is sunny meadows and campsite at the same time, oh and the ghost is always Lisa.

This is what it looks like when gigachad plays games. Never sprint, knows everything about the ghosts, no need for training wheel game mechanics. Just walking in, analyzing, acting and winning
I watched your video and I tried it a few times too. Finally done! I met Revenant, at the 1F bottom of the left aisle, and it took me 90 minutes to complete this mission... I mainly use parabolic microphone (to find ghosts), video camera (to explore the map), EMF reader (sentry), motion sensor and D.O.T.S. (stable light source to see ghosts and objects) I was so scared that I spent a lot of time planning and setting up each hiding spot (especially the corridor area). When set to the end of the corridor, the ghost saw me, I only remember a few steps: Smudge > Photos > Smudge > Crawl and close door > Pray And I survived😂
After 4000 cases..... Insym enters the house... Ghost be like- Hey insym, whatsup? Try to know my type...., here take this evidence, I'm revenant, go tick that...
Now if the developer can update character models to be customized. Not add new actors per say, but just have the option to change accessories such as clothes, shoes, ect. You can even use the in game currency to unlock items since a lot of us usually have a lot of excess money anyway. Just a thought.
I Completed this!! Oh man what a challege that was! So glad I recorded it, oh man I was down to 6 ghosts left to choose from and oh boy! Insane Insane Insane challenge! on x24
I was thinking old challenges and started thinking: sunny meadows and alarmclock (or any other item) collector, 0 items when entering map and every alarmclock you bring back to car you can spin the wheel for a random item and try to figure out the ghost and do all the objectives... refering to that thief challenge when you took all the phones and laptops etc.
I absolutely love that Sunny Meadows doesn't have the normal inside ambience of other maps and instead you just get the echos of the player(s) and ghost; it gives off such a larger horror vibe imo and it's pleasantly terrifying to hear both the ghost's and your own footsteps echoing during a hunt
