The DIFFERENCE between FM24 Console and FM24 on PC. Is the PS5/Xbox version lacking? 

I really like it on ps5 ,been playing for years on a laptop full version this is 1st year i got it on console.but love not having press conferences plus staff meetings etc that don't mean alot anyway. Dynamics plus buy in a good addition .u get all the good stuff

I played the PC version for years, so far only have fm24 on ps5 but still find the controller very clucky and glitchy (hoped this would have been fixed from fm23) flipping to cursor mode always fixes the glitches I just dont like using it so I flip between the 2 modes. I love the lack of meetings on console its much more streamlined, you spend more time on the best parts of the game. However its frustrating not being able to fix the team names/badges/kits etc... honestly tempted to go back to PC version on my laptop, missing the portability of it too.

@goodside1807 yeah I know, I usually hire a good assistant manager for them but then I dont always like the outcomes. Then I be a bit of a perfectionist with hiring the best possible staff in all categories. I sometimes spend actual days finding the best combination of staff on pc (which is very simplistic on console). I'm the orchestrator of my own downfall here really 😅

Yeah I found that after. Seems odd it’s missing from the other menu.

Yeah I’d go Pc as experienced player but I think the console version (though on pc via gamepass preferably) would be my suggestion to new players

50/50. Personally I struggle with touch if screen is too small but I’d imagine on a switch it’s fine

Yes should do - but I don’t think you need to worry about having the perfect mix as much as on pc.

Yes you’ll have players even when their leagues aren’t there. Depends what kind of save you are doing. The game will recommend leagues for you

It should work same as pc- though there are more youth limitations and you only have 30 years

@@SiMaggio just bought the game. It does indeed NOT work on console as league reputation is not something the game includes... I also feel you should add that the tactic overview on console is tough to use as it does not show what positions a player can play.

The number of players is the same- it’s how many you can load into the game at once that is different. Pretty much no one on pc runs with every player loaded in at once (the game would run very slow). On console you are limited to a certain number at once also. On both it comes down to what you selected when setting up.

Yeah - what leagues you load in will be the difference. Generally top international players will always be there though@@theschapp427

I found many by scouting or looking by yourself the youth international comp. like under -18 world cup , euros , copa america and africa. You can also look (at least) the european preliminary groups in youth nations.

Played both and really surpriced me how good the console version was, if fm on pc is 20 in rating (like fm uses lol) the ps5 is 15-17

@@SiMaggio are you sure? Because i watch a lot of this one guy who plays fm and every game of his never gets interupted by his assistant manager. (Apart from serious injuries) I wasn’t able too find anything in settings, but not sure if ive missed it.

@@ALFWHU I'm not sure how it works on PC however on console when ever your agreement with an affiliate club ends, the game/owner of your club automatically creates a new one with another random club, essentially replacing the old affiliate clubs.

@@SiMaggio Yes, works perfectly on Xbox X. I also connect a keyboard, but only use it for looking through each player (ctrl+right arrow) on rare occations. Haven't found any way to go to next player with the controller.

⁠@@ants80Yes. You can use mouse and keyboard on PS5. I have PS version FM24 and tried it with wireless mouse and keyboard. It was strange, that PS recognizes mouse as keyboard, so you should plug in mouse firstly, then keyboard. Otherwise mouse doesn’t work.

What don’t you like about it? For me the controls are more fiddly but that’s unavoidable

@SiMaggio the number of things I've forgotten is ridiculous! It's cool. Any chance you can do a deep dive on fm24 console, you are the only RU-vidr that has gone deepish on the console version, but I can never find anything other than a guide, or a review. I'm sure their are thousands of console players who could do with the help. Little things like, what all the dlc packs do and benefit us. Saves us buying them if they are not worth our time, or the training, as basic as it is, I have found it challenging to raise my players stats consistently, although I realise the more they play the better they train. It could be beneficial to new console players, because I can't find any RU-vid videos, or even online anywhere, that do a good hour, or longer videos on the console version.

@@willzer6915 I'll see what I can do- I've some console stuff planned - though I predominately play the pc version. There's certainly some stuff that theres not much out there
