I love this game, the music and the story. Such a masterpiece.

Wish they still made games like this, always wanted to play these types of game but never had a pc as a kid.

Monkey Island, The Dig, Sanitarium and modern indie games. What I love is that not only are they amazing games and adventures, but they work as well as a movie, almost more so sometimes. The slow conversations are really comfortable and fun to listen to. The games are also almost like an easter egg hunt. In Day Of The Tentacle when Laverne gets hit with the boxing glove, you can pick up the car tire plate and she has some funny dialogue: It has a bulk shape of my face, why did I pick this stupid thing up? In Sanitarium in level 3 The Courtyard. If you walk to the chapel and click above the door on the stain glass you get a short cutscene of Max gazing up on it. Years of playing and I still find new stuff all the time and new dialogue.

I miss this kind of games

This is such an amazing game with a great story. It would make for an incredible movie. Actually just watching a play through of it makes for a pretty decent movie. Nowadays I'd rather watch a play through of it than actually play it myself. Which is kind of sad in a way. Back in the day I would spend days and days playing it. I do recall that the puzzles in The Dig were pretty tough so I did have to use a walk through at some parts.

Amazing game overall! Ahead of its time. Thanks for this full walkthrough! Looking back now I am finding that Maggie’s behavior is completely unbelievable and comes off as a plot contrivance. This is a game that intends to put itself on the level of a feature film. So it’s a shame that even with Orson Scott Card involved, the writing is unbelievable. I don’t know, maybe Maggie’s behavior is accurate and she just lacks common sense and is super rude and antisocial… 😂 She starts out okay but then once they get into the main situation, she’s just an unbelievable jerk. Who would pick a person with an aggressively antisocial personality like that to go on a mission to save the human race? (Ok K Kennedy would, but i mean anyone who’s competent at their job)

how do u play this game though on new pc architecture, doesnt it look blocky and ugly? how come this video looks so good and smooth? Its really not too bad for 800x600 kind of game...

where did all of the people who played this get that sequence? 56:40
