If they found lots of blood soaked paper towels, someone was bleeding and it seemed cops cared about everything except that this young man vanished , and they moved on.... I can see how awful it would be and it would tear a family apart to see proof one of them had killed a cousin and other family members helped and covered it over for years. Devastating to have lost a son and now hes killed by his relative. Just sad for all of them.

I believe so too. As for the family's denial, we can't even begin to fathom what they are feeling/going through. Realistically speaking, that has got to be one of the most difficult things in the world to accept. This whole thing is horrible, to be betrayed in the absolute worst way imaginable by the people in your life that you trust the most. What's heartbreaking is to think what Dylan's last thoughts must have been.
@zuzanaxyz8866

Steve Jones PianoGesang I wouldn’t blame the parents for trying to ignore the obvious probable solution. Can you imagine what such a situation can do to your psyche? You have to live with the suspects on a daily basis, you can’t believe, that such a horrible thought can actually be a reality, this solution would damage the family once again irreparably... If you know anything about how our brains work... - your mind wants to protect you from hurting at all cost... Their behavior is very easily explicable and they deserve more understanding than this :/...

And then not join in the searches and go skydiving?? And then that strange statement about people getting murdered and buried and then not attending the memorial services each year except that one and denying talking to the media... cindy holloway There's either a big family secret or an inheritance involved and his family don't want to lose it by accusing the cousin. That's the only thing I can imagine which would make them behave this way.. Even the brother, vehemently denying any suspicion on the cousins. 🙄 Also the girlfriend had something off about her... @MatthewNY94
@MatthewNY94 4 года назад
The problem with that (in any disappearance case) is that when the body is found there's the chance of the perp's DNA being on it. Even if the remains are skeletal, it's safer for a perp to not fess up to anything, even anonymously, because legally if there is no body found then there is no proven crime . So yes, it would morally be the right thing to do, but would only create potential problems for the perp.
@beckyweaver5981
@beckyweaver5981 2 года назад
@@MatthewNY94 actually they can still put together a case based on circumstantial evidence. They don’t have to find a body anymore. People got so sick of criminals getting away with murder because they hide the body that we are not buying that anymore. (When we know there’s been a crime committed.) They should’ve just taken cadaver dogs into that house and sprayed luminal everywhere and they could’ve put together a case that way. Then separate all of the housemates and question them until one of them cracks.Case solved. The cousins killed their own brother.

I watch a lot of these. If I had a dollar for every relative, that said, "there is no way, that my son, brother, sister, friend, could have done this" I would be rich. It turns out none of us really know what others are capable of in the heat of the moment. 4 Alpha males together, plus alcohol, jealousy, anger, ego and pride, its a dangerous mix. Sharing the same DNA doesn't dilute that mix. They wanted to smack him around, they got too heavy handed, they killed him and got rid of the body. Conspiracy of silence.

silverlom60 you are so right it gets on my nerves so bad they're thinking about everybody else's feelings and not finding out who murdered their son

You hit the nail on the head silverlom60. The whole family knows in their hearts who's responsible but for the sake of the family no one will say it out loud. How horrible their existence must be now to live with this. Colin has cursed his whole family. What a shame.

@@nadinewhite993 - A polygraph test cold cut through the distress of time under suspicion. Even if not admissible, it' an indication of which path is the direction to investigate.

Pent up resentment, alcohol, and testosterone...Collin def killed him. Heartless to let his own family suffer for years, especially Dylan's mother, always haunted by "what ifs".

Great job, Edmonton Police. This makes me ashamed, to admit, that I'm a Canadian. Obviously, his own cousins are hiding SOMETHING. Geezus, they wouldn't be interviewed! So tragic for such a handsome, young man.

I was shocked by the laziness and ineptitude of the Edmonton police. Their performance is, honestly, making me reevaluate my normally tremendously high opinion of Canadians.
