I love watching your videos because you actually test the shit outta every aspect of every build! Awesome video and awesome job bro. Now only if everyone tested the sets like this we'd have a much better game with fewer people complaining about broken shit, yet in the PTS only use the broken sets and not test anything else. I just started playing this a month ago, and it's exciting and overwhelming at the same time. The inventory management is getting annoying, it requires a lot of OCD and ADHD personalities to manage. I mean I'm addicted to the game, I can't give it up, but I don't want to earn a engineering degree after playing. However you provide the most insightful info on this game.. thk you.

to me this was really spot-on with a lot of what I was thinking of it even after playing the pts server even just two to three times over the course of the last two days I really am looking forward to seeing what they're going to do with the other set however I feel like they still have a lot of work to do

Very well put together and informative. I agree on a lot of your points. That EMP stagger is a bit much. Especially with a strong Tact build you could bombard the enemy team. Developers since day 1 have struggled balancing new gear sets/talents to work with both PVE & PVP. It's not easy. But I'm hopeful :]

I have had some differences in opinion in your videos. However I do completely agree with everything you've said in this video, I hope they listen especially with the flashbang sticky stagger. Good video Marco :)

As usual, your analysis is bang on... While I would trade all of these for a fix to chicken dance and broken netcode, your suggestions all create a better balance. BTW I already use flash sticky just for the 'stagger-cannon', it's going to be the 1.7 meta.

I actually really agree with your opinions here. Ill be honest, Ive disagreed with a few different things you've said before, but this was all pretty damn accurate.

Currently I log into the Division maybe once every week or two. I was hoping for something interesting witht he 1.7 build but it's really not enough to bring me back. I mainly run a reclaimer set but with what is being shown as the 6 piece bonus I can't see my logging in becoming any more frequent than it currently is. Thanks very much for the vid, it's good to get an idea of the changes and whether or not it makes it worth coming back to play our particular styles. I guess I'll just move more of my game time to the other non-Ubisoft games I'm playing these days.

Marco, you're the one who convinced everyone to run Tac Healers in PvP and the community is still abiding, for the most part, by that. I generally agree with you on these things, but I only see Reclaimer in PvE and it's powerful, as it should be, in those instances. We'll see how things go. Good vid.

im curious if you tested whether an immunity box will prevent the emp sticky from removing the striker healing stacks.

Your favorite console player here. I agree with every one of your points. I would like the Striker healing bonus to diminish in a similar (not exact) manner like the damage bonus.

Great video with testing done to back up your opinions on all this! How about a video for all of us console players who have not done a Division PTS. Do we login and have our same characters with all our gear, money, and materials? If not, what do we have when we login for the first time on the PTS? What is the best way to test gear out, if you play alone? Insights into what to expect on the basics of how a Division PTS works, would be appreciated!

Another great video Marco - thank you. I dont like this RNG with the station for the Reclaimer (that you can get it back without cooldown). My suggestion is that the talent is something like: "You and your teammates gets 20% overheal when inside the stations range". Maybe not 20% but something like that, as long as they remove the RNG. As a healer, I hate RNG. What do you think?

I still love lone star has it is right now. Man, the other day i got a spray of 484 bullets, got the bonus three times in a row. you can just imagine me running out of mousepad xD

with the Ninja back pack can u 2 alpha set and 3 d3 set ? would that be a good tank set for pve

You right about lone star , who want to use 6 piece of lone star based on 50% chance , but i think deadeye need to be slightly adjust specially that you lose bonus if u reload , it would be nice it they made stacking extra CHD like stacking in striker do the 6 bonus dose not effect while u reload

That disrupt can be cleansed with a medkit if I'm not mistaken. If that is tge case then the stagger should stay imho. If anything the power of the stagger should be reduced depending on how far you are from the sticky.

When i didnt know what 6 piece reclaimer was. I expected that when the station was broken down by the player the CD of the station would be cut in half .

I hope that in 1.8 will be a continuation of story and new missions and incursions or a trailer of TD2 introduced at E3 2018

Sorry, I'm still kinda new to The Division. What do you mean when you say "marks" when you're talking about the sentry set?

Completely agree with the chance mechanics in the 6 piece bonuses. I do not like that at all. If those are fixed then lone star and and the reclaimer 6 pieces are golden. Deadeye, sentry, and striker I think are in good places. The final measure set should be able to absorb the EMP sticky bomb through the four piece with no buff since I do not think there will be any way to counter it other than just taking it and being disrupted. That way there is some sort of counter against the Sticky EMP other than removing the stagger on it like you suggested. With all these and seeing some of the Global Event Bonuses, The Division seems like a game I'll be able to play again. PS: PLEASE TELL MASSIVE TO REMOVE BUY-ABLE EXOTIC GEAR OUT OF THE EXOTIC CACHE POLL. Getting so sick of grinding the legendary missions/ heroic incursions only to get a stupid Phakan or a Liberator that is worse than what the vendor currently offers for Phoenix Credits.

@marcostyle You should check out what Wrel did with Planetside 2 and try to establish a closer relationship with The Division's current management. Good luck, glad to see you're enjoying the game again. BTW, Reclaimer 6 should just be revive time buffs for using the set, make the player even more of a medic rather than just focusing on the box alone.

Ok @MarcoStyle so my question is should i return? I havent played since the survival DLC dropped cause thats when it seemed the game went downhill, so worth trying again after this patch? P.S. I used to LOVE this game, I have like 10 days playtime in it, I would love to return one day but only after its actually playable again like it was in patch 1.3 I believe.

I feel like they should also max all stats for the pts in order to get a sense of what it will be like when using it.

I'm beyond stoked to see that Sentry's Call is becoming far more useful for PvE content again. I always felt that the rework / nerf that was done due to the PvP smg and then shotgun spammers hampered the set and I have felt for a while that a Exotic / HE build was a much better marksman build in 1.6. I'm ecstatic that Massive has FINALLY separated the damage potential in the sandboxes between PvP and PvE and that Sentry's Call seems to benefit from this very much so.

So keen for sentry and strikers

I like the 50/50 on lone star. the reclimer 6 piece can always be changed after released to the millions . pts can only offer x data feedback. I will agree it's a tricky 6 piece to fix. I'm a sniper guy with Thomsen 1928, using a high end build due to lack of fitting in anywhere else.

Does the EMP sticky scale with skill power?? I never use it, so I'm not sure. What if lower skill power gave the EMP effect for less time, and maybe you needed about 250k skill power to EMP somebody for 8-10 seconds??

Could you do a gear sets video for players that left the game a while ago and are now coming back?

I'm fine with the Reclaimer revive time if they put a threshold on the number of revives you're capable of getting before you're dead for good. If you or your team wipes three times in a row, you should enter the Dead state. That would be a good compromise in my opinion, but I doubt it would happen.

Is predators mark getting a classified gear set?

I kind of want new gear sets like one called F.E.A.R that could introduce a new status effect and it could also be a status effect gear set.

Was that reclaimer modded with max range mods???

I think a cool replacement for the increased revive time on the 6 piece of Reclaimer could be, that when you self-detonate the Support Station any down(and only down not dead/unconscious) players in the area of effect get instant revived similar to if they were hit with a Defibrillator First Aid. This would be quite balanced as it would have the downside of having to detonate the Station to get the effect and it would not be able to be used on the owner of the Station(as you can't detonate a skill whilst down), which would push the support role of the set more as well. Let me know what you think?

What about the other sets, like the one that uses fire

Here's an idea for the Lone Star 6PC: 30 second duration, 3 minute cooldown, with the trigger set on switching weapons. So, say kill fifteen enemies then when you need the boost, swap weapons.

You've got a point with the difficulty levels. Why can't every mission have every difficulty level?

I kinda wished they made a classified version of Hunters Faith (partially because I use it a lot and partially that I want it to be stronger)
