Clayton Kershaw is reportedly in agreement on a deal with the Dodgers. Here's why its a great signing for him, the Dodgers and for baseball as well as what could be next for the Dodgers. #mlb #claytonkershaw #dodgers
Capsule surgery and work to repair 3 ligaments, my man. I think he has a chance to comeback but I don’t think it’s this year. It’s take a lot of time to get your control back…
they're gonna hold Buehler out till month or more into season. if everyone stays healthy they've got plenty of depth for the post. the youngsters can carry rotation 1st half. Knack, Sheehan, Hurt, Grove and Stone etc. backup coming later.
Clayton Kershaw coming back to the Dodgers is great news for Ohtqani. The Dodgers can win the W-series and he can learn from Kershaw regarding quality pitching. And most of all, he doesn't have to face Kershaw as a batteer. 😍Shohei Ohtani vs. Clayton Kershaw Batting Average. 0.000
Buehler shouldn't be slotted as SP3. He's going to miss the 1st month (at least) which means they'll have him in a very short leash. I would keep the car running for a Luzardo trade by deadline (if not earlier) just to be extra safe. Edit: as for the bullpen I'd say tehy're set, unless we're talking about Devin or Classe
Not crazy about Kershaw at this point but if he can be healthy in the second half of the season he has the potential to contribute. At the very least give the man the ring before he retires, the Dodgers owe him that.
Me again. Jim, the Dodgers plan on Mookie, Freddy shohei, 123. They really should not bat Freddy, Shohei, back to back. I think Freddy and mookie need to trade spots. Freddy hits for higher avg, doubles machine, and a good base runner. Love Mookie, bat him 2nd, get more RBI’s. Their lefty’s should be alternating in the lineup, Muncy and Outman also.
Picture this: They take the ship🏆and win it this year, he opts in, and now pitching together with Ohtani, they dominate.. win it back-to-back. 🏆🏆⚾🤞🏽🤞🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽😂
The Dodgers not having options beyond Alex Vesia, LH relief? The 3 hitter rule has changed the game. Teams make their lineup alternate to always have a favorable matchup. And, there are way more right handed batters and pitchers. Whoever is the closer, gets the ball in the 9th, and Alex Vesia isn’t him. Add to that, that the Dodgers will average 6 runs a game, and hold opponents to 4 a game. It becomes a question of how often will they have “high leverage situations”, where another lefty would help. Lastly, Andrew Friedman will make any necessary adjustments, mid season, when teams dump. This is the dodgers year.
If you see him starting a playoff game, that means something went wrong with the Dodgers off-season plan. And im a Dodger fan. Good insurance policy but i hope they don't feel obligated to start him.
