"South City Midnight Lady" is a song from The Captain and Me, the third studio album by American rock band The Doobie Brothers. The album was released on March 2, 1973, by Warner Bros. Records. It features some of their most popular hits including "Long Train Runnin'", "China Grove" and "Without You". The album is certified 2× Platinum by the RIAA.

Love this song . A Country song sung by a great Rock Band . Saddened that they didn’t sing it on the Goodbye tour with the Eagles in Manchester UK a couple of weeks ago . Love Pat Simmons.

I always put in a Doobies cassette when I was in a road trip. Music moves, essential for the open road - with the top down. (Or raining cats and dogs!)
