I personally do use AI image generators to get idea for character designs. However, the images I generate are references at least, and placeholder images at most. When I find artists who can actually do something with what I give them and turn them into real art, then the AI generations go in the trash. That's what AI should be. It should be A TOOL, and not THE RESOURCE. And Kwebbelkop here proves that point wholeheartedly.

AI Could've Been Avoided If He Changed His Schedule To Weekly.

I've recently used AI on my own voice to make my videos more accessible for non-English speaking countries, but I wouldn't use anybody's work/likeness without permission. These AI models are tools, just like how art programs like Krita, are tools. They abstract the process of creating art. By converting draw strokes to pixels. I don't think we should discredit engineers just because they give these tools to the public. Their work should also be appreciated, why do artists somehow eclipse all of that hardwork? Also I think Kwebbelkop did say he curates the AI content and has some creative control of how the output is resulted. So it's not entirely without human intervention. AI isn't magic, it takes humans to make AI good. Quantum computers are what really worry myself when it comes to AI.

I think he styles himself a pioneer by being all about AI. He’s in the techbro circles so I wouldn’t be surprised if his current friends love what he’s doing.

Kwebbelkop was my FAVORITE youtuber back in the day and when he is with Jelly and Slogoman, sad to see his downfall.

This was sad. I watched some of his videos for a while, and he seemed pretty successful. Seeing him spiral into... this... was horrible.

I’d argue that Wayneradiotv uses AI for some of his livestreams, like the gnome half life alyx streams using uberduck however the prompts were made by humans and is only a part of the experience. As long as AI isn’t the main focus of the art but enhances the art in question then it’s fine

She’s an AI live streamer, but has a few notable things that distinguish her from Kwebbelkop and other AI Internet personalities, which I think are some of the main reasons she’s been so successful. For one, she’s a homegrown AI made by a single person, rather than simply being ChatGPT hooked up to an avatar. Additionally, unlike a lot of AI personalities, Neuro is treated a lot more like a person: Her streams are scheduled, rather than being endless like AI sponge, and her creator, Vedal, often appears alongside Neuro for development streams and similar.

The one thing that annoyed me the most about this guy is he tried AI on his channel before and received a ton of backlash from his own fanbase saying they just want the old kwebbelkop back. What did he do with that feedback? Submitted a fake apology video then revealed right at the end that the entire thing was done using AI and announced his ai 2.0 which is what made me unsubscribe. I completely understand that AI is going to be used more and more as time goes on, but his goal is the let the AI take over and replace him. Its not a good look for his channel
