Galaxy actually lost THREE MLS Cups before finally winning in 2002. They lost in '96 to DC United, again in '99 to DCU, and in 2001 to San Jose Earthquakes

Good chronicle as to how ownership and Chris Klein have run the club into the ground. One small correction I would make is that I would not categorize Ashley Cole as a flop. He was not signed as a designated player, so he wasn't sitting on one of those three vital roster slots where you can spend as much you want on a player, he worked super hard every game and still showed his quality despite the years having caught up with his legs. He's honestly one of my favorite players we've had on the team in the Klein era.

I don't think LAG will go back to their heyday, but they've made some good signings so far this year, so hopefully they do better. The league is just so much more difficult for any one team to dominate.

As a europeean who has been following very actively MLS for 2y years , its this is not so much of a surprise but I have to say many people in europe (myself before watching MLS included) still have a wrong image of LAG, although I think Bale'S MLS CUP has changed that PS :I really like the way u cover MLS and I would like a video on the Becam deal

If you're a Galaxy fan and you love your team, don't give any money to Klein and his goons! AEG needs to sell the team to an owner who care or clean house! The Galaxy should not be in this mess. BOYCOTT LAG, FOR A BETTER FUTURE

I’m a lafc fan and honestly I was kinda scared of the galaxy in the half of the season, from them building and advancing I knew they were a threat, now that I look back at it now, that might’ve been their last real chance at a mls cup for at least 5-10 years

You missed 1999 MLS Cup when they lost to DC United, when Kevin Hartman errors cost them. They lost 1996, 1999 and 2001 before they won in 2002

Galaxy fans can’t assume the downfall of their team. As the league been increasing old school fans had more choices to root for. Yes. Some LAFC fans were Galaxy fans but they decided to root for LAFC. Probably because they were sick Galaxy wasn’t achieving anything

I'm a former LAG season ticket holder. What the management did to this club should get them banned from all MLS front offices. This is an embarrassment of many for the most successful American soccer club in history. Not only is the front office trash, but the stadium itself has become a joke. The security takes their job way too seriously. For those reasons I will never attend another match until everything changes

DC was the 1st MLS club to win the CCL.

They didn’t make it to the western conference finals, they were eliminated before they even got there

As someone who’s lived in the Los Ángeles area there whole life. This is just my opinion LA never belong to the la galaxy I don’t think I ever met a galaxy fan in my life. But after 2018 I seen so many people wearing LAFC gear. I truly believe LA is 🖤💛

LA is black & gold period. Carson is trying so hard to emulate what LAFC is doing. Had from 96-2018 to capture LA for themselves. As we see now, they’ve never been successful.
