@@DPowered2 Only explanation is the brine is a relatively recent thing and the world is stagnant, though I think I'm reaching.

@@Athidius from the lore I figured the world was always like that. The brine is a plot element but to me it’s just an excuse you can’t swim lol. Fish are fine but sea beasts apparently not. Well I guess they aren’t defined as swimmers but they have all the features of something that should be able to. I’m just being overly logical about it
