Drake was huge way before 2015 more like 2011/2012 even if not on Billboards or whatever. He had so many, but for example you couldn't go anywhere without hearing YOLO when it came out
@@KingBenny only for guys like Drake, Taylor swift and maybe Ariana Grande.. who else just peak at number one first week? Only Future and Drake did it this year. And it’s only been done like 6th time ever. It’s way harder now. That’s why the top rappers and even pop singers rather not drop singles anymore to focus the hype on that first week
Literally binged your videos and I’m hooked man. You earned a sub here. Also, Drake from late 2000s to early 2010s is the best Drake if we’re being honest. Although his last good album was “Scorpion” in my opinion
Never was a fan of drake. For the longest time I thought a bunch of drake songs were Lil Wayne songs since he bit his flows hard back then. Idk why ppl can't see how this guy is straight up wack af.
Yeah its hard to top the billboard charts, but at the same time: is this your goal as an artist? Isnt your goal to just make good money so you can continue doing what you love? 🤔
Well competition is a part of being human. topping the charts probably gives a crazy high so yeah it kind of is the point of music. An artist most viewed song/highest charting song is usually the song people know the most too so it kinda makes sense to want to chart as high as possible
@@artistaccount Being motivated and expecting emotions based on a number on a chart is kinda the road to depression and problematic thoughts. Its not a coincidence many artist have a problematic personal life.
Your definition of Billboard Hot 100 chart is kinda weird to me. I mean, I get what you mean, but I just find it weird to not include anything about the fact it's a chart focused on the US market, not whole world is US. ;v
I mean I only speak ab US artists for the most part so the billboard charts is what they care ab... so idk I guess I could've mentioned it but I don't think it matters that much
