The Drover - Best Steak in the USA | Omaha, Nebraska 

Hey, the guy is a genuine person and is doing an honest job and is natural in front of the camera. Give him a break.

I used to visit the Drover. Ambiance is great. The last time was when I took my father for a Father's Day dinner. He loves the Drove's cowboy vibe. We both had the off-menu porterhouse for about $70 each. It was horrible (much gristle and cartilage). Not being complainers, we resolved to finish and leave, but when the server asked about the meal, we told the truth. Have never been back, though I drive nearby all the time. On a positive note, their baked potatoes are the best I've had, but who goes to a steak joint for a potato?

Have you visited enchanted forest in Oregon yet it's an amusement park with a weird bobsled coaster thing and a log flume and then oaks park also in Oregon has two coasters and a Frisbee ride and then you have the Washington State fair in Washington State during this month and wild waves theme and water park which I think is its last month before it closed for the season so if your gonna visit you should probably plan now also wild waves has a water park Worth checking out

If you haven’t already, you need to try Johnnies Steakhouse. VLOG heaven. I ate at The Drover on two of my trips to Nebraska in 2020. It was one of the few places I could sit and eat right after the lockdowns. Nothing quite like The Drover. Atmosphere, classy retro vibe and that whiskey marinade.

Moved to Omaha recently from Chicago and my wife and I have been looking for good steak houses. We went to Charleston, which was phenomenal. This place looks incredible. Taking the wife here for sure. It’s 15 minutes away.

I knew someone that worked their a long time ago. They said the Whiskey Marinade was Jamesons and soy sauce. I’ve given it a try and could never quite get it right.

Since 1985 Omaha has lost about five excellent steak houses. All were reasonably priced, if not down right cheap. You from Omaha? What was your favorite, now closed steak house. Venice Inn and Casio's for me. I always wanted to go to Ross.

A waiter told me : “ Jack Daniels: Soy Sauce: garlic powder. “ Only 15 minute marinade so steak taste not overpowered. Gorat’s marinade more complicated with brown sugar and I suspect Worchestire sauce and maybe lemon juice . Parking sucks at Drover. Always busy.

Haven’t been there in a long time. Wow dem prices though!
