I bought the game, it comes with a good pamphlet, explaining the game, the first thing I learned about the game the pieces that come out of the bag have a starting side
Blake J : It's a really simple strategy game that allows for variety and luck. But that luck is only based upon the tiles you draw, the rest is up to you! It's a fantastic short game that is fun with kids/young adults and seasoned gamers alike!
I love the Duke but I'm pretty disappointed in this. Sure, it adds the Arthurian Legends expansion but for a redux, I expected more. A nicer game board would have been welcomed and why not include most (if not all) previous expansions?
Don’t forget the bags they included. Some really Shitty material right there... I really hope the folks at Catalyst Game Labs eventually publish a 10th anniversary edition of the game with better components overall and a couple of expansions included. I think I will contact them and suggest them the idea...
@@ElPantera237 : Agreed. I bought some nice velvet-like pull bags (for cheap!) as soon as I got the game. It's strange to have nice quality tiles, but then have crappy bags and a better board would be most welcomed!
I definitely prefer the Duke, but they are different enough where I'm glad I own both. Onitama is easier for a lot of people to play and plays very fast so it's easy to get players.
Robert Sillas I made a nicer board for the game. I don’t think it’d throw the game off you increased the size. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-B0U9QH2XevI.html I kept the squares roughly the same size. I’m so happy to see the game get re-released! Tempting to pick up a copy of the new edition
