Something u guy misunderstood i think was when they said "pro players" its not pro esport players/ content creators, they are talking about professional athletes (football players) because ea has a policy that if you are in FIFPro (football players union) they will give you 3 icon of choice (what these employees are selling)

Gr8 video, but i think it didn't cover the extent to why this is both so hypocritical and egregious from ea. Ea have on record banned individuals for buying coins even when there is no legitimate evidence that any coin transaction have occurred. They have overpriced their FIFA points, to the point that it makes no sense to even spend money, whilst also removing everything that rewards you for actually playing the game (ie not buying packs or grinding the menus). They also have a game that is completely broken mechanically, meaning that game play is not rewarding. For those wondering why on earth do people still play this game (I quit recently for my own mental health), There is no alternative if you are a football fan. Pro Evolution Soccer is far behind the curve in terms of FIFA. The community had so little to cling to, EA have ran us dry to get every drop of money from out wallet or to invest our life playing the game, that it is a joke that they are selling cards (even if it is directly not their fault) as they invest so much money into maintaining their cash flow by ruining our experience of the only football game we can play.

Like I get spending money on F2P games. Especially ones that last multiple years, but holy shit I realised how much it's pay to play, I don't know how you get satisfaction out of the game. It's such a scam, pay £50 for a game, then pay 100's to maybe get a character. So stupid

This is why I've only spent lots of money on CSGO. I spent waaaaaay too much over years on that game. Then when I eventually quit I sold all of my skins and essentially cashed out. Can't do that with most games.

Haven't played fifa in a while but back in the day your team of the year goalkeeper couldn't stop a dribbler while an average gold became the greatest player of all time. Most biased matchmaking algorithm of any game by far.

You know in the pro scene they all have the same players right? so it does have "competetive integrity" in that aspect, Also you are matched with someone based on your team, So you only face a god team if you got a god team yourself lol. Buying the game itself seems to be a part of the problem. Makes them able to say "but look how many millions of players love the game and systems, there cant be anything wrong with the business model."

I think the fact people spend loads of money on the game is blown wildly out of proportion. It's actually really simple to get good packs by just playing the game or by doing objectives
