I agree. I love Marc Jacobs as the creative director with LV for years. Still on my wish list the Stephen Sprouse Graffiti neverfull and LV mirage etc. I kept my LV murakami collection and Kusama speedy. At least monthly I tried to find a nice prelove on fashionphile. What a beauty. 🔥

These bags are so beautiful!! 😍 I was not in the bag scene in the early 2000s. I live in a small town and it just wasn't a thing to own luxury bags. I recently purchased two Coach Ashley bags and when you revealed the Groovee bag I was surprised to see just how similar they are! I love that bag 💖 OMG! The pink Baggy!!! Uuhhh!! I want that so badly! Yours is so perfect! I love it 💕 I have the denim Neo Cabby pm in blue denim and absolutely love that bag. Hello!! I cant tell you how much I enjoyed watching this! I still remember when those marc jacobs bags were in. I couldn't afford one as I was a 10th grader at the time. Then, when i graduated from university after a few years, I was working - I managed to visit the outlets in London and i purchased my first MJ bag. I still own it until today and its crazy that the condition is incredible. Not one scratch on the hardware or on the bag itself! Such amazing quality! I do remember then, that the SA encouraged me to buy an MJ instead of a Marc by MJ (as it had better value) not that I would ever sell it!!!!

I still have my Marc Jacobs Multi-pocket hobo! I purchased it preloved in 2008 or 2009. The leather is thick the hardware is heavy and solid. Vintage (and almost vintage) bags are excellent finds. Hope you enjoy your second time around purchases.

Yes I totally get you. I discovered the Marc by Marc Jacobs Fran in the sale in around 2008 then since then I have bought and sold and repurchased others from this range. Had to be this range with that print lining and that soft squishy pebbled leather with that smell! I’m waiting for delivery of a preloved baby grovee and baby Aidan at a fraction of their original cost at the current time and can’t wait. So yes I understand you. 😁

I definitely think years ago there was more of an elusiveness to luxury bags now it seems like everyone is into them so I do feel as the quality has suffered in an attempt to keep up with demand. I definitely notice it with some older LV bags. The canvas on my older bags are definitely softer and not as stiff.

The early aughts were a great time in MJ bags…Marc by Marc, signature line and of course his time at LV! I still have a beautiful brown (og Argan Oil?) clutch from the Q line. She’s slouchy, big and mean business. I also have a little black wristlet. You’re making me wanna pull them out. I had a PVC snake print Hiller Hobo that I had to sadly toss because it was beyond saving. I’m debating about grabbing the re-released black Hiller hobo. I can see why that vintage pink denim is not for everyone. It’s “tacky cute” to me but a very specific look. Great finds!

LOVE both and yes……before I could afford a luxury bag….like LV or Chanel….Marc Jacobs was the one to have…..and Yes the Leather on those bags were / are…AMAZING! Congratulations 🎊🎈🎉
