Well made vlog boss. personally you cannot beat flathead tails and i love them fried in butter with a bit of lemon and garlic salt, perfect like that. 1 tip for your beer batter, the quicker and bigger the temperature change the fluffier it is, chuck a hand full of ice in your batter and mix between each piece of fish, you will not regret it. Great vlog again boss, missed your content.

@@marxfishing Yep go the ice and add some vodka. Evaporates real quick and helps crisp the batter. yum. Oh and after having deep sea Big Eye Perch, Flathead has dropped to my second favourite table fish. :)

I will always remember going fishing for flatheads when I was 10. I got a flat head and I was pulling it in and when I got out of the water that damn bull shark came up took it and wrecked my rod string. I was looking forward to cooking

I like 40% corn flour, 60% plain flour. Using flathead. It's the best I've come across. cheers Mal

Thanks for the great feedback. I find 4-8 meters of water is best. I often find that I get lots of undersized fish in water that is 9-10 meters+
