"You're not supposed to be here." "You're not supposed to be here." "You're not supposed to be here." "You're not supposed to be here." "You're not supposed to be here." "Good day."
He really is, I get his idle follower dialogue getting old after a while but his storyline stuff is very impressive and the character is genuinely very interesting and fleshed out, wish Todd didn't get bored of him so quickly I would've loved to see some DLC-related dialogue
The emperor was prob the best character in the whole game. Super chill dude. And the "but-- we had a deeeeeaaal...." was the most satisfying last words and NPC uttered in the game.
Dude knew he was going to die, so he just turned his back to end it quickly. No guards, no calls for help, just accepting the inevitable, and he even got a one up by asking to have his contractor get offed, too.
I've never done the Dark Brotherhood quests in Skyrim, honestly couldn't be arsed. So I have no idea if the emperor is actually just... Totally chill with being murdered?? Does that actually happen? TBH power move.
Destroy the Dark Brotherhood is such a satisfying quest after you have done the full quest line once. I would honestly recommend doing giving it a try.
God the puns and the fact that Nazir gives you shit for killing the targets he gave you just completely take any pretense of this being a serious group of assasins. More like a merry band that likes to joke around and sometimes bathe in innocent blood.
@That'sCoolDude it was even goofier in Oblivion. But there were some extremely serious moments to balance it out, also Lucien made things feel more murder culty. Cicero just makes everything a silly goofy mood.
Cicero is insanely annoying and I have never once not opted to kill him the moment I got the chance. Killing the Gourmet always makes me feel bad, though - the poor guy just wanted to perfect his recipes and be left alone. ☹
@@ThatsCoolDude His whiny voice and the fact that he never shuts the fuck up is what drives me nuts. But I am a bit curious what he's like as a follower. :D
Unpopular Skyrim opinion (maybe)? It is the worst mainline TES game. The factions feel too short and often pointless, the story is fairly uninspired and bland, the map is pretty boring overall (Riften area is nice to look at, I'll give it that), and despite being "The Chosen One", your actions have little to no consequence on the world at large. That said, I have had fun putting many hours into it but can honestly not do so without many many PC mods. I barely made 50 hours on the base Xbox 360 game before shelving it permanently. Daggerfall, Morrowind, and even Oblivion held my interest far more as base games, much less with mods. Opinions and potential whining aside, thanks for the video. Always a pleasure to watch you ruin the quests one way or another.
Not whining at all... I feel the same way... There's probably not a single questline I like more in Skyrim than Oblivion. They just made tons of dungeons and in most questlines faction leaders just send you to clear them out. Still can be fun, just really bland at times. Happy you like the vid!
True a bit about the questlines Dark Brotherhood doesn't feel as rewarding like in Oblivion each Dark Brotherhood quest in Oblivion feels unique especially the dead drop contracts (There was 1 quest in Skyrim's DB i LOVED when you got to assassinate the emperors cousin) And "The Dark Brotherhood Forever quest" gets very boring very fast Skyrim's College Of Winterhold questline was meh but could tell who the villian was right from the start, main story in Skyrim meh drags on for so long (Did love the Diplomatic Immunity quest and Season Unending quest)Didn't even do The Companions questline
Unpopular opinion: the worst, most downright infuriating NPC in all of Skyrim is _not_ Nazeem. It's Heimskr. Every. Single. Time. I go _anywhere_ in Whiterun. He's there. Screaming the same FREAKING speech about Talos. The same words. The same inflections. I usually pass him at around the same time in the speech, too. It drives me NUTS.
Unpopular skyrim opinion The safest option is to kill Parthuurnax (I can't even remember how to spell his name lol) He outright admits to still having tempations and who knows if he will ever act on them so its best to just deal with him while there is still someone who can do it easily
I understand, but he's also gone over 2,000 years without harming anyone. We didn't absorb Alduins soul so there is also a chance that Alduin will come back and there won't be anyone to stop him. Without Paarthanax being able to teach the thuum used to defeat Alduin then there's no hope. Without Paarthanax there's a chance that when the Dragonborn dies no one else will ever be able to change the dragons minds when they attempt to concour people again.
@@babygurleatsshickennuggits4201 Alduin is a whole different case since he is literally meant to consume the world so a new one can be born. The whole reason he even came back to life to begin with was because he was never even killed but sent forward in time and the whole reason he could ever be defeated was because he strayed from his purpose loosing the favor of Akatosh in the process so I don't think Alduin is the best of arguments to bring up
Skyrim has the worst environment out of all the 3D ES games. Morrowind is alien and Oblivion has more inspired albeit generic fantasy environments whereas Skyrim is just a boreal forest. The only unique part of the whole game is the Dwemer ruins.
I’d be lying if I said nazir telling us how Astrid had to hold a lottery to see who’d kill the bard didn’t make me laugh every time. Idk why it’s always just so funny to me
I dont like the idea of vampire dragonborns or werewolf dragonborns adopting children. Imagine you found a home for the first time in years, just to find out that your father lives of human blood, heart and flesh. Nah man. Same goes with cannbials - why can you become a cannibal? It's disgusting and makes me feel sick.
“The sealed letter you delivered to me was mysteriously unsealed upon its arrival, I only assume you read it contents.” No, it was torn at the bottom so i opened the seal and placed it back in. lol
The last thing i need in a video game is to be trapped inside a rotting corpse of a who knows how many years old lady in a concrete coffin. The sight, the smell, the suffocation, the feeling..... Everything tore my mental health apart
@@ThatsCoolDude especially when i realize i am more close to a 100 year old rotting corpse than i'll ever be to a healthy young girl (or any living girl unless i'm on skooma, let's just not talk about that....)
