One of the somehow creepier things with Draco's Summoning animation is that, iirc she straight-up summons herself. You have no control over that, this Demonic Entity just sets her eyes upon you, and decides to appear.
Well Space Eresh kinda does that too but ya its cause of Independent manifestation probably. Some others can be summoned but don't have to listen to you and can exist without you like all the other beasts even in different classes. Not pointing out anything. Just saying how scary it is to summon ANYONE with independent manifestation. Nothing is stopping them from doing whatever they want like destroying everything or anything they want. Summoning beast classes is already scary as it is. Foreigners too. Ritsuka really deals with alot of demonic shit
Actually, in literally every other Nasuverse timeline, Lev Lainur succeessfully committed suicide, preventing Flauros from awakening in his body, thus preventing Goetia's formation, causing the Human Order Incineration incident to cease to exist. That's right, the entirety of FGO timeline happens because a single person FAILED to commit suicide.
@@natsukisubaru5602 Vague LB7 spoilers: Corrupted grail means Marisbury loses interest and hope which means no Chaldea which means no Part 2 storyline.
No wonder Jalter is a lot more chill in her swimsuit Berserker form, and it's not simply because it's summer season. The Avenger Class she's normally stuck has been removed from her, making her a lot less angry and letting her true self shine more. Granted, she is still quite hotheaded as a Zerker, but her personality is noticeably MUCH more reasonable and approachable. Sadly, the curse of her Avenger Class is a part of her, so she had to leave us behind - and not changing into her truer-to-herself Berserker Class can save her from it.
@@neves783001 After thinking about the alter's situation, my mind became itchy. I don't know how to put it, but I felt uncomfortable. I don't even know if itchy is the right word or not. Smh
Nothing will ever terrify me more than than *one* castoria face. One where she is smiling but her eyes are creepy, voided of life, looking like she is about to make u regret looking at her…
Castoria is such a "dark" character honestly, her avalon journey/memories was such a twist Cnoc's death really made her solidify her "hatred" towards both the world she's supposed to end, and her duty to end it
@@vinsonli302 just offering a possibility. Aphantasia greatly helps in being a detached distant person since the past/memories aren't "real" to us, it's just words/facts.
@@anime-rr6ogyup. They kinda small being who like to steal from human and sometime kills their own kin. Disney turn them into cute little creature that can grant wish.
Combine the extreme hate gilles impose onto jalter for revenge with the immense hate that makes avengers be avengers and u get pretty much someone that is forced to hate as if their life depended on it, never getting better, only getting somewhat used to it. Poor jalter…
with Jalters section here about the class affecting her, Sallieri's interlude gives us the real sallieri and we see that he is actually chill even about mozart so yeah what you are saying is true.
Salieri is an even sadder case, since not only is he being twisted by the Avenger class and its class skills (Avenger and Oblivion Correction), but also by the Innocent Monster skill. Good, virtuous person in life? Too bad, it doesn't mean anything if the popular belief is that you were actually a monstrous psychopath.
For me Heracles is kinda creepy in a similar manner to Jalter a great, kind, brave, even respectably intelligent and almost invinsible hero (like Hercules-Heracles himself) twisted in nothing but a shadow of himself, in that note all berserks are kinda creepy imagine being the love interest or certain snake princess or another thunder mommy, those chicks are crazy as f@ck and taking in consideration that they can crush your body effortlessly only makes it worse. XD
Nice video, i like discovering more fate channels on RU-vid. And I'll never forget how scary the summer 2020 video was 😅 or seeing cernunos face in the pit!
That's the problem with the Avenger Class and the Oblivion Correction Skill. It's usually used in a "revenge is a dish best served cold" deal, but it's true effects are different: *They force the Avenger to always, ALWAYS, remember their most traumatic experience*. They're constantly remembering the reason they're an Avenger in the first place. And it's ingrained in their brains for their entire existence. That's why Jalter says in Shinjuku that the only way to save an Avenger is to do a mercy kill. Being an Avenger is such a painful existence for the Heroic Spirit that some of them refuse to being summoned in that class just to get away from the trauma and have at least a chance at happiness. Like Anastasia.
Ido also weirdly creepy eventhough with highschool romcom background, seeing the main character slowly succumbed into vengeful nature is eerie since up until now the main character is high spirited good natured, in ido MC dialogue options is just silence or him but in his thought, no wonder Ido is now regarded higher in popularity than avalon le fae despite both was very very good
So sorry for the mucho texto but after hearing the Jalter bit I had to share this. If you like Jalter you'll hopefully find this interesting. I had this sorta theory/idea about her when I played the ServentFes summer event, It's kinda scary but also wholesome. Her summer version highlights the horror that comes with being a person, who is an artificial creation based off another person. She's just created as a fully grown woman by the twisted wish of Gille de Rais right? So every memory she has of life is actually someone else's, she had no childhood, no formative years, she didn't do the things Jeanne d'Arc is famous for and the torturous death she remembers as her key reason for wanting vengeance on god and mankind, didn't even actually happen to her, she had no real life, outside of the one she was forcefully made for in Singularity number 1 which her only purpose was to kill and destroy. She is so goofy with the Katanas (despite being French, kinda) and with 3 of them which she claims makes her extra cool, which numerous Japanese swordfighters like Ushiwakamaru tell her is weird, dumb or useless and says she probably can't even use them properly. If I remember correctly doesn't she name her Katanas, or her swimsuit some super goofy over the top name like "Black Mumba"? And then there's the German words and names, and I think it's mentioned somewhere she just thinks German is cool. And finally the obvious Manga interest, such an innocent interest for the walking embodiment of destruction, and didn't the event mention she had picked up the interest before the event? so like, the Avenger her, it didn't just magically start upon putting on the swimsuit. I think Jeanne Alter during her time in Chaldea is basically "growing up". not like in some creepy "she's a kid" way, but like, you get into unrealistic cringy stuff when you're a kid because you find it cool and don't know any better. She literally just picked katanas because she thinks they're the coolest swords, sounds very familiar. She's developing into her own person beyond just a mindless implement of destruction, finding hobbies, interacting with others and doing good for humanity.
The only real part she have is her legend. Between OG Jeanne's death and her retrial under Charles VII to absolve her of her witchcraft verdict, there were people believing it, that she was a deceitful witch trying to ruin France.
regarding the sodom thing... i mean i am sure it is scary for the staff, but if the main character is gudako, it will be something like... when the lights turned off "oh nooo, the holy gambling ritual has been defiled"... when the red goo bursts "wait, something is happening, am i in the shining? did a ghost mistaken the summoning device an elevator?"... when draco shows up "oh its just another nero variant... a beast? awesome, welcome to the team now i can bring 6 beasts into singularities (kama, kiara, koyans, koyans, tiamat), oh wait while we are on this beast topic can you do that forced summon thing again and summon camazotz? i need him to make some new alters, thanks"
Too be fare though, while drilling holes to a person may seem gruesome, considering that she's a Beast and everything thing she's done, I say it actually a bit underwhelming
It's not that Jalter is purely a victim of her class, there's also the fact that Avengets become so used to that bitter mindset that it becomes their only anchor of identity In Shinjuku, she was empathizing with Hessian Lobo as she related to the relentless pursuit of vengeance as his only way to find a purpose, but she kind of managed to get over that in Chaldea I suppose
@saxor96 its not a matter of whether its initially purely the class influence or not, the point is its still avengers choice at some point, they're fully conscious of their state and decide to go that route out of fear of losing identity
@@moebamba4658 I don't think it's that easy as mell out/chill. Oblivion Correction makes them remember their trauma *all the time*. You really cannot turn it off. That's why in Shinjuku she says the only way to save an Avenger is to kill them. It's the change of class to Berserker what heals her for a while. And only during summer.
It's funny that Sodom's Beast was mentioned. The fact that the Beast class's unique summoning animation shuts down the summoning system means that even *rainbow orbs* guarantee a spook. That's the real horror right there.
I actually put that in as well, but unfortunately, since I'm playing in NA, I don't know for sure. I want to feel the terror and horror when I play it directly though. Well, maybe part 2
I think if the fairy come to shadow border or chaldea then the extra class will be suspious of them and keep an eyes on them for sure like if the fairy act then dante gonna come and smack them all and def a bunch of other servant will be suspious of them cause maybe guts feeling or just that they don't trust anything come from the lostbelt
It's in Mashu's dream sequence I think. ( or is it Ritsuka's) Either of them actually suspect Romani having connections with Goetia and Solomon. There were many other signs too. Like Holmes being suspicious of Romani and Apocalypse Romani ( Goetia?) being suspicious of Holmes.
Yeah the bit about jalter I knew to a point that it's mainly the class making her that way doesn't make me love her any less her being my only np5 level 120 5* in game it is sad because her berserker form is quite chill it is portraited that an mentioned with little nodes the class is to blame.
If you want to speak about being a Servant manipulated by their own class, look no further than Berserker. Madness Enhancement is a cool passive to have gameplay-wise, but is a nightmare for a Servant to have lore-wise.
I purposely didn’t mention anything about Berserkers being controlled because that’s their whole deal. They’re supposed to be "mental" and have some type of craziness. But in Jalter’s case, it’s her own mind that got controlled by the vengeful nature. well, at least that’s what I think.
@@mr.skeptic I mean, then the same applies to Avengers, no? They are supposed to be vengeful, so there's nothing strange about them seeking vengeance. But Jalter sure has no luck: from an Avenger class that seeks vengeance all the time to a Berserker with EX-rank Madness Enhancement. Probably something to do with how the event went and all the deadlines she had to deal with...
I have a question. During the story, where the f*ck were all the servants summoned by Chaldea? Its clear that Chaldea summoned servants, and yet none of them were used during the singularities. Why is that?
Yea, they summon them, it's just that they rarely show it. That's why there are interludes and side quests. To expand their stories and such. For the singularity team fight, at least in the manga they clearly show that fujimaru actually brought some servants with him from Chaldea. In the game, they don't show it, because the system doesn't know your servant roster. (It would be funny if you had gilgamesh, but in the game fujimaru decided to bring kiyohime, right? Looks like a plot hole). This is slowly changing though, in future stories, they acknowledge that chaldea is full of heroic spirits, even showing servants who will join fujimaru regardless of the players' roster.
creepy enough with the alien and eldergod plan to destroy the universe. they explain why? I skip most the lostbelt cutscene because I know it have deaths in them
