The Orioles amazing 101 win season comes to an abrupt end Didn't finish how the fans wanted Baltimore Orioles were swept by the Texas Ranger 3-0 #gunnarhenderson #baltimoreorioles #baseballhighlights #mlb #postseason
While this wasn’t the ending I hoped for, if you would’ve told me they’d make the playoffs , become AL East champs and take the #1 seed in the AL before the season started I’d have probably only believed the first part (make the playoffs). So… while it’s a bittersweet end it’s comforting to know they can hang with anyone in the regular season; not something they’ve accomplished for quite a while. Hopefully the playoff experience they felt this year carries them through for many more years to come….as long as Angelo’s doesn’t muck things up!
I'm in total agreement with you as far as not giving away the farm for a rental. I trust what Elias and company are doing and am anxious to see what additions are made to the pitching staff over the off season. I was at both home games and it just looked like the guys were pressing at the plate a bit, not quite as relaxed as they were during the regular season. This is a young talented core and they will be back with more experience and improved. Being a fan since 67 I have seen what decimating the farm system to acquire a big name does to an organization and firmly and believe in home grown talent with maybe a few proven players acquired through the trade pipeline mixed in. Going back Frank Robinson immediately comes to mind. This is going to be an enjoyable team to watch for many years to come. GO O's!!!
Im with ya, it seemed like the last 3 weeks the entire lineup was pressing. which worried me heading into 5 days off waiting for the ALDS to start. But hey. learning experience
this postseason hurt but the O's are young and they will do better next time around...I see us going to many playoffs in the years to come...thank you for this video...see you nexr season
when looking at the Os, Dodgers, And Braves.. 3 of the best teams in baseball all eliminated. or on the brink.. Shows the byes these teams have ruin all momentum
Definitely not a failure season. It was a great season! But yeah going out like that hurts and was ugly. I thought Hyde should have pulled G Rod sooner and put Wells in. But we didnt lose because of what Hyde did or didnt do. It is what it is.
O’s signing Kimbrell to 12mill + incentives seems less than what I was hoping for. The guy is a shadow of his former self; maybe… just maybe a change of scenery and league switch can foster some electric he has left?!? I wasn’t crazy impressed with them signing Gibby last year and that went well so here’s to hope! 😅
I got really frustrated with Adley taking every first pitch. Everyone knew he would and they were throwing strikes on every first pitch knowing it. Even the Fox announcers were talking about.
I was pretty frustrated with him behind the plate too.. his pitch calling was really fastball heavy and they were just SITTING on it ... lol I yelled a few times
