Note:
when I started documenting the development of this line, I didn't know yet if what I was showing you would end up being part of the final collection or if it would disappear/evolve on the way. It was both exciting and scary, but I was motivated by the fact that something like this had never been done on RU-vid before and was totally in line with one of the goals of this channel: burst myths about the fashion industry and show what the job really looks like.
Making the creative process "public" has been quite stressful (and emotionally intense) for me, as it exposed me to multiple critics and deliberately mean comments e.g. from people who judged my creative skills, my aesthetics and my decisions without understanding what it takes to bring a collection to life. Some people even claimed to be insiders from the fashion industry, who pretended to know everything I was doing wrong and all the reasons why I don't deserve my design degree or any success... So I don't know yet if I want to show the development of my future collections online, before they get launched. I need to think about it. And I need to get my balance back after some intense months of work.
I do hope you enjoyed seeing this "documentary" in several episodes, which took a lot of resources to produce.
And it takes a team to plan, film and edit so much footage, so thanks to everyone involved, you know who you are!
