The Entire Game of The Forest, vs. Five Dads 

This is the highest quantity of Dads we've ever had on this channel. A massive thanks to Cloé for editing down our entire playthrough of the game into one video. I had so much fun playing this with the gang, and you can find everyones channels linked in the description :)

The forest is a game about a dad who crashes on an island, immediately forgets about his son, and proceeds to murder half of the islands inhabitants within the first week to make "armor" from their bones.

I love how over the course of the seven hour stream, the consensus gradually morphed from "we have to save Timmy" to "Timmy's probably already dead," and finally ended up at "fuck it, let Timmy die."

Does anyone realize how terrifying this must be from the enemies perspective? A bunch of dudes, giggling as they slaughter, cheering as they kill, brutally killing random wildlife while putting the heads on a rock, using peoples legs as weapons, sprinting as a group while chopping people to death with axes and chainsaws, once again saying stuff like "Woo! He's dead, we got him!" :D This horror game you play as the horror.

my favorite thing in horror games is when the horror is completly ruined by the player being like 10x more terrifying, but not in the you where the real monster type reveal, but in the is incredibly obviously the monster from gameplay but the story acts like they aren't

i like how everyone in the forest community universally decided the kids name was timmy (the name was canonical only after the first couple months of release)

I'm honestly proud off rt's calm when facing the spider woman creature knowing he has arachnophobia

The different ways Todd kept dying were honestly impressive

The “trap obsession” intervention felt like a Scooby Doo episode

The amount of times these five dads set themselves on fire in the first five minutes has me mildly concerned for the health and safety of Timmy. I feckin love this chaos.

They don't have a chance. The island's local population, anyway. We all remember what happened to the Wooloos, Rumble Tumble.

The Forest is my favorite game about 5 dads in a polyamorous Relationship trying to survive mutants and save their child who may or may not be an alcoholic

I didn't know there was literally a lost episode of the Lost series, but I'm guessing it's lost because of the amount of Dad jokes in it that it was too corny and cringey to be shown on TV.

Something about Todd launching off a mountain in a turtle shell sled, bouncing off a few cliff faces, and surviving is one of the defining moments of RT's channel.

I appreciate that everyone is a dad despite their difference in gender

Imagine being in a plain that is going down, you hear people screaming, bags flying around and you just hear 1 random person *aw my food*

"Hi! We're friends... we're just like you!" RT: "That's right! WE'RE SAVAGES!" *Immediately charges him with an ax.*

Now I never had quite an expansive wall of deer heads, buuuut me and my friend did make a whole cannibal killing fort in one of the cannibal huts on the beach, had a wall of trophy skulls, a bone church with armor stands covered in bone armor as attendants... It was great lmao

All of their chaotic energy merge together to create a magnificent hellscape, Beautiful.

The heart-felt story of 5 dads, losing their son to the government, making their own way, fighting the man, and being forced live in a car in the cold.

God i can picture someone washes ashore and if he/she says: " i'm okay" everyone simultaneously turn their heads to say in unison: "hi okay, i'm dad"

I love how consistent it is that everyone I've watched tries to sacrifice one of the other players only to find out thats not how it works xD

Ah yes, my favorite moment from the game: monster is impressed while five dads play tennis.

The Dad Cult were trying to raise Timmy into becoming a Dad as well, but their plans changed when their plane was knocked down and Timmy was Kidnapped

Also, just for the record RT, go onto an island. You will be safer because the monsters can't swim. It also means you don't need to build or rebuild walls.

This play through is great Although nothing will ever top Markiplier, Wade and Bob spending an entire episode building a huge structure only for them to destroy it in 30 seconds

Fun fact for this game: cannibals only kills you if you run away in the first encounter, attack a cannibal, or cut too many trees to the point they will wage war

Ohhhh I watched this stream is was real cute seeing Dan with his friends, that hardly any of us knew. Except from the fact some people were being kinda dicks to his friends like wtf they’re funny and sweet af, it was a great stream even tho I couldn’t watch it all Can’t wait to actually watch this vod or the full stream vod, too busy to right now :(

This is how I see the scenario- a woman married the five guys (at separate times of course) and divorced them and Timmy is her son which is not related to any of the dads, but they are obligated to care for him because of the mother and their letting him die is a general frick you to the woman which they all hate

I remember when The Forest was early excess and the multiplayer was buggy as all hell. I’m glad to see it has an ending and a functional multiplayer

Somehow this still went better than the last lot of dads I watched play this. At least RT's group didn't devolve into a civil war between one group who decided to live in the caves and one group who saw that for the bad idea it was.

I watched this entire stream and it was honestly so good, I laughed so much with them 5 dads collecting animal heads to put it on a wall and looking for a child that is prolly dead

I’m not sure weather i should find I should find it funny or be scared that like every game that RT plays through seems to have cursed children in some way or the other…

There is a difference between child and adult psychology, shown most notably in the classic novel, Lord of The Flies, which gives us an idea of how the underdeveloped mind reacts in a scenario that simulates beginnings of the formation of a society. Here, in this novel, we see the more violent tribe of boys sever a pigs head to satisfy a deep rooted bloodlust. This takes up roughly over half the book to get to this point. Here, in this video, we see 5 adult children immediately sever a deer head with no prompting. Yes, I’m calling them children.

Omg, that game was all the rage back in the day. Can't believe I forgot about it. Thanks for reminding me about it

For those that want the story of the game, You crash land on a peninsular which is inhabited by canibals and mutants. The aim is to find your son and survive. The peninular is owned by a company called 'sahara' and they were doing experiments on sick children using an artifact which they believed could cure them. Well those experiments went wrong and turned them into horrible mutants which overran the facility and escaped into the caves and peninsular. The owner of sahara (matthew cross) daughter got fatally ill, and since everything was overrun, he coloured himself red, used another artifact which caused an EMP to bring down the plane. Your child (timmy) is then stolen and put into the first artifact, basically a coffin with spikes, to bring megan cross back to life. This didnt go well, she went crazy from mutations and killed matthew, and then she evolved in the boss room as you saw in the video. There is a heap more lore to the game like ancient explorers looking for the artifacts but all died, leaving ship wrecks and old stuff all around the peninsular, other cave explorers, film crews. You basically have to choose an ending to save timmy with another plane, or leave him dead. Now the next game, which might come out this year or next year is based on some location (same map or different, idk) which has mutants and canibals and I THINK is based around Timmy, (from when u save him in the forest) coming back to the peninsular with a special OPs team, using heavy firepower to do something about fighting demons (mutants)??? I dont know much but the game will be huge with a crazy amount of features. It will be the biggest survival game of all time by the looks of the two trailers so far.

I have never seen a group of RU-vidrs do this ending so I actually have never seen it. Neat!

This was the first stream that I saw on Twitch, and now I am a part of many amazing communities there and I love it a lot

The amount of time someone was set on fire this game. I knew the moment I was the lighter that things were going to go sideways. Not as bad as your don't starve playthroughs, but wow ^^ Loved the group chemistry! You were all a lot of fun to listen to.
