Ok so vampires also came from spellcasters as well. In the werewolf pack, I think it’s from when you’re sim reads one of the new books, it describes how spellcasters wanted to create clones of themselves that were permanent and wouldn’t need to be sustained by magic. However once the spellcasters tried to make them permanent, their clones went savage attacking and sucking the plasma out of the spellcasters who had made them. Kind of some gruesome lore for yah. Sorry if you mentioned this already in you’re vid but I didn’t catch it if you did. Great lore recap by the way 😁

It makes sense for Spellcasters to be the oldest Occult since the Magical Realm seems so ancient and mysterious, so the Vampires and Werewolves being offshoots of Spellcasters makes sense to me. Plus, it makes more sense why Spellcasters got the same customization options as Vampires with those face scars and eye colors and ear shapes.

Not sure if I'm the only one who didn't know this but Lily Zhu is Caleb and Lilith's cousin! Kinda wished it showed in their family tree though

Okay so let's recap a bit. Vampires were made out of spellcasters when they were making clones that they were sustaining with a bunch of different potions (probably a funny easter egg on how op the potion of plentiful needs is lmao) and other experiments to the point where it started going all wrong. The clones had an insatiable thirst thus turning against spellcasters and explaining why they started to bite and feeding off of their blood. Since spellcasters' blood has magical properties they acquired their darker powers from it and started turning into monsters up until the point were they could reproduce themselves (make new vampires). Vampires then waged war against spellcasters in what was called the "Operation Eternal Flame" which consisted in turning every single spellcaster remaining into a vampire. The rest is all covered in the video after 9:41.

i want to add a few more things that i found^^ 1) celene was actually lou’s ex gf, they both went on a date at night and encountered greg, greg bites lou but celene escaped. times passed and lou finally accepted himself as a werewolf, but celene didn’t, which led to both of them going separate ways. 2) rory was originally from brindleton bay. she was actually bitten by a dog at the vet and not another werewolf, so perhaps sims are also able to transform into werewolf in this way too. rory’s parents couldn’t accept her transformation so they kicked her out, she wandered alone, kristopher then found her and adopted her. he’s hurt by her way of living now but rory still remembers his kindness in the past and respect him as a leader, and she actually desires to be a good leader kristopher always wanted her to be. 3) this is not what i found in the lore but i do believe the vampires deserve more of their own lore, call me biased but we can’t judge a story only from one point of view :’) vlad, lilith and caleb could’ve had it worse than greg in the past, we don’t know things about them as much as we know about the werewolves. it’s best to stay neutral now and don’t immediately paint them as villains. not trying to justify whatever wrongs the vampires committed in the past but please, give them a chance ;-;

Okay, but this makes me want to be able to (like Sulani) repair the magic realm. Just think It'd be so meta. Of course your Sim would have to master both untamed and mischief branches. Or maybe, if we want a true challenge, a Sim needs to have completed the Vampire, Spellcaster, and Wherewolf aspirations to finally bind the realms.

Here's more lore that makes it even JUICIER! If you don't want it spoiled, stop reading hahaha. This is just a couple things I learned yeee okay okay okay: Greg said that they held Vlad under the tunnels to try to use him as leverage to end the wars, but Vlad was too powerful and escaped. That would explain the garlic tunnels, they used it to weaken him...He also said he tore up the old mill and put it in the tunnels so they could never bring the noisy machines back and destroy the town, that would explain the rubble...Lilith Vatore is actually Lily's cousin, and said that she started hanging out with Vlad and he corrupted her...THERE'S SO MUCH THIS ISN'T EVEN EVERYTHING

I think you'll need to do another video exploring further, Jesse, because just now while playing I got a dialogue from Lily Zhu where she told my sim that her cousin LILITH got lured away to the dark arts long ago 👀 The lore keeps going and I'm SO excited to discover more!

Vampires, spellcasters, and werewolves literally have so much lord but mermaids don’t have any 😭 mermaids need a refresh just for lore so badlyy

I like that there's so much history packed into this one single game pack that it can easily spawn some fanfics or animatics or whatever just about those townies. Good stuff good stuff we need more of that

I've had a lot of fun playing the pack the last few days, but I do wish that werewolves would have a special social action or relationship with dogs. I feel like it would have also been able to support the lore because of the mooncasters and their familiars.

seeing as spellcasters and wereworlves are linked by mooncasters (who turned into werewolves) it would be fun gameplay to play through being a spellcaster who then transitions to a werewoves after completing their goal as a spellcaster (hope this makes sense)!

My fave bit of lore in this pack has gotta be the new lore surrounding the vatores they were basically Lily's cousins but when they got turned it ruined their relationship

Another fun fact, you can find lore on the other members of the back if you ask them! For example Lou and Celine came to the town together and both got bitten, but Lou did not take the cure while Celine did!

A couple of other pieces I found. Apparently Jacob was in some sort of danger when Kristopher first found him. Also Kristopher admits to still feeling glad to have been able to raise Rory despite the differences the two currently have, which is sweet. Edit: New info, Kristopher mentioned he had an encounter with the vampires when he first met Jacob. So he likely saved Jacob from the vampires. Edit 2: Just got more of the story! Kristopher: "When I found Jacob, he was practically a pup. I'd heard there was a feral werewolf in those woods, and I wanted to help. Turns out, there was also a Vampire there. Thankfully, I got to Jacob before either of them could. When I found the other wolf, he wasn't interested in coming back to Moonwood Mill with me. A pack didn't interest him. Some Werewolves like being the lone wolf."

Note- We probably are only hearing the wolves' side of the story! In a vampire pack refresh, we could probably hear their side, too, and finally get the full picture. Remember that history is written by the winners and currently, it sounds like nobody had won.

my friend showed me a screen shot- she met the elderly werewolf lily- and when i learned shes the vatores cousin it blew my mind how theyre tying the packs together. Also since Lily is an elder it really shines into perspective how long the vatores have been vampires.

I think that Myshupotamia wasn’t Moonwood Mill like you said, but actually another society in a different place that the Moocasters got inspiration from for their cowplant taming. If I had to guess, I’d assume that San Myshuno might’ve been the original place where Myshupotamia was before that society fell and a new city was built there with a different name.

Following up on the fact that a tamed cow plant ate Yina, on the tamed cow plant skull and jawbone are the words ‘I will avenge you’, and the jawbone is said to have Greg’s distinct smell on it!

some of the interactions with vampires, werewolves and spellcasters ARE giving me world of darkness energy.

There’s also some lore for non places households like the bartender and her ex Lou and the mysteries werewolf writer Wolfgang! Love that even if they are placed in the world they got some backstory too!

Oh my lord I though EA had made a character named Remus for this pack and I turned to my cat, Remus, to tell him the news… then I saw it was Jess’s character and I had to tell him the EVEN BETTER NEWS!!

So basically spellcasters caused the whole mess of vampires and werewolves. They created monsters that started a war and then they created more monsters in defense. Vicious circle.

Sheesh, that is indeed a LOT of lore! O.o EA went all out with the background on this pack, huh? Really makes me want a refresh for vampires and spellcasters (and the other occults too, but for lore purposes, those two) so that this can all be tied together properly. Nice work!

I'm so glad you have gained in confidence and you share your passions for The Sims by explaining THE TEA! (Sips) Thank you for being you, and being inspirational to many people who have struggles with Mental, Physical or Social issues... but are still going strong. If enough people (from all over) talk and give insight... are open about these experiences and feelings. I just started a save that is a spellcaster, werewolf, vampire, mermaid, and alien polycule that are looking past their shared history for the sake of their love 🥰

I’m truly obsessed with the lore for this pack. I even made Lily’s + Lilith’s and Caleb’s parents, made them related w Mc Command center and them obvi killed the elders (sorry!) Now Lily is legit the Vatore’s cousin in the family tree. I also created Miss Hell (from the broken mirror description) because she’s the one that turned Caleb according to Lily. Moved her into Forgotten Hollow and made her date Vlad lol. Such a good time!

The sims finally givings the fan service we've been asking for

I find it hilarious that they gave us plants versus zombies without the zombies, it would be hilarious and terrifying to be chased down the street by a prehistoric cow plant with legs. But that would explain why realm of magic is not a livable area because the only people living there are ghosts and the sages can't live there so I guess that's why they have to return as often as they do. And I consider this a bonus point but remember that bug where every Sim became a spellcaster when the pack came out, that could have been the sages plan to rebuild the realm itself by getting a fresh bunch of idiots to learn magic so they can have enough power to do it.

I love that the leader of the Wildfang pack is called "Roary" 😂

As someone who is autistic, blocks of text with absolutely no visuals are the worst way to immerse me into the game. I really appreciate you for covering the lore, it actually was pretty cool. It's just a shame it had to be understood through walls of text, makes it really inaccessible to a lot of different types of players. I like the memory system and screenshots in the sims 2 to tell us stories, it helped pull everything together. Thann you for this video! All of your hardwork is definitely appreciated! I really want them to revamp (ha) the vampire pack like they did with the spa day pack, but make it in a similar style to this one. Like update the world and the lore and maybe make npcs and the like

This Lore is actually quite related to existing lore, as lot of of supernatural lore has Vampire and Werewolves come from witches.

Caleb and Lilith both show up at the Bar from time to time! (But Lilith seems more wary, probably because of Lily) And so do some of the Charms and Morgans. Which makes sense given the connection to spellcasters.

What I'm confused about is the name "Myshupotamians". I assumed it was based on ancient Mesopotamia, maybe in the same location as modern San Myshuno. Moonwood Mills doesn't give me big Mesopotamia vibes....

Seriously considering re downloading the sims 4 and purchasing this pack just because of the lore. My favorite part of the older sims games was just playing in existing households and giving them makeovers just because they had such good lore.

What about the lore related to Lord Lycan and Lady Sanguina? How does that fit with the new lore we received in this pack.

sims lore is seriously some of my favorite things they do they’re so good at it, i wish they’d implement it MORE through stuff like this and further gameplay that isn’t just a one and done thing (strangerville my beloathed)

OK but I don't think Kristopher wrongfully took credit for the creation of the Moonwood Collective. Maria may have founded the basic ideals of the moonwood collective and had a vision for what moonwood mill should be like but the actual conception of a pack/community based on these ideals is Kristopher's doing.

I love the lore of this pack so much, it literally gave me inspiration to play the sims again and I'm having a blast with it

vlad is celene's number one patron in my game, and i can't get over it 😂 also, i had my sim go there to explore, and him and celene fell madly in love. they have some lycan-bond now and omg.. this pack has really outdone itself.

So spellcasters became vampires and werewolves ? Cuz isn’t there an item saying there was a duplicate spell gone wrong and the “other” spellcasters craved their fangs on the originals ones? Or is that about werewolves as well? If she mentioned this in the video I’m sorry I missed it!
