wait a second... if bonehilda's mom looked like the catrina doll, who fits the vibe of selvadorada (from sims 4 jungle adventure), maybe she's from there? there's even another skeleton at the temple in the jungle who walks around and talks to sims - you can even get a skeleton assistant that way maybe she was once tied to a temple and someone went there and "adopted" her as a skeleton assistant. when they died, she had nowhere to go so she started to work for anyone (with the bonehilda closet)

I stopped using Bonehilda in the Sims 1 after she ADOPTED MY BABY! She was nursing her, and my sims couldn't quite put in baby time because the darn skeleton took over every waking moment of it. Then suddenly she went into the closet with it! It was not a glitch, because there was a game message for it. I don't remember the wording, I just freaked out at having her in the house. Just as with the robot station in sims2 where the cleaning robot destroyed my house. Garbage and cockroaches multiplied into a plague and cursed the house... Maybe not cursed, buuut.

I do miss bonehilda, I also miss genies... why haven't they returned yet? they've been around basically forever too.. There's a lot missing in the sims 4..
We don't have them because they're catering to the realism players. Us older sims fans that enjoy occult content and all the old inside jokes the sims has, are now outnumbered by the new players that have only ever played Sims 4, and most of them hate all occult things. This is why content like laundry and kitting win the polls, and why occults were ignored for 3 years after Vampires. Now with news of Sims 5 starting development, I'm worried we won't get all the occults back in Sims 4 before the game gets retired.

@@ricericericericericericeri5762 Well, actually Arts and Crafts and Eco stuff won, EA just took those concepts and made the packs. I love occult stuff and realism in The Sims, and EA is screwing over both types of players. It's not a us vs. them thing, burglars are real, yet non existent in TS4. No one uses a huge cupcake baker, a huge telescope, etc.
I remember the time when Bonehilda picked up my child and didn't want to put it back down. Looking back, I think the child was actually better off like that.
Not really a person but I'd love to know an entire history of Selvadorada and Selvadoradian culture. It seemingly got a lot of attention from the devs but it takes a lot of time to fully uncover the world and I'm not that patient.

Terry Fortune I know all the risk, I haven’t seen my family or friends since the end of January. I have Facetime dinner dates with my Dad and brother. I’ve thought about quitting and walking away, but people need me and I’ve been the only person some people have in there last days/hours here with us. It would be selfish of me to not help them and hold there hands whilst they’re scared 💜🤍

Bonehilda's great, we need her back ASAP. But you know what else should make a comeback? Dragons. The Sims 1 dragons. Hatch them from eggs and raise them like a pet. They were the best. #UnleashTheDragons Also, Entire History of Dragons? We got them 1, 3, and 4 (as familiars.)

But nothing changed when it comes to awful situation of Supernaturals. Vampires became hunted down to the point where Vlad, the young adult is the last vampire who tries to survive in small town with his vampiric children, who also aren't really fond of his lifestyle, but won't leave the FORGOTTEN Hollow cause they dont want to die. On top of it even witches who could live in outside world, also became sparse, trying to hide within mortals after their world started to fall apart. To the point where for longest time we didn't know who was a spellcaster - until we found destroyed Realm of Magic for ourselves. Mermaids also fully lost their own home, blending with mortals to the point of losing their naturally scaly legs. Trying to survive under the protection of island spirits, but majorly struggling with over polluted world. All of it making those three groups last standing occults after mass hunting of any Supernaturals. 11:35 Juno being the only Alien that cares about occult lifes.
In TS3, whenever I make a sim version of me, I always include "Neurotic" since I have OCD. When I learned that Neurotic Sims flee when they see Bonehilda, I was extremely offended. I'd *never* disrespect Bonehilda like that.
Whenever I play TS4 and I have a maid, I just use MCCC to rename them to Bonehilda and then transform them into a skeleton with it. Sadly it's temporary so I have to keep renewing it, but I'm still pleased.

When I found out about Bonehilda during my Sims 3 days, I thought she was a bit overpowered to have. She basically does the job that you'd pay to get done. I did get a challenge for myself in it, though. One of the children in my household was afraid of her and had trouble getting around the house when she was there.

I think if they ever decide to take ideas from Happy Haunts to put into another pack, since it won 2nd place, then Bonehilda could make a come back in that pack. She could also just be in a free content update for Halloween at any time. She shouldn't take that much resources since we already have skeletons, maids and butlers so they'd just have to re-skin the code for her, and then re-skin the coffins animations from vampires for her to use.
Bonehilda is best! I buy her coffin in sims 3, and she cleaning house, get food from fridge when my sim back home, repair things, try calm down toddlers, playing with my pets when they was sad - she just do fucking EVERYTHING! Love her 💜
I would love more 'history of' videos! They're some of my favorites on your channel, and inspired me to rebuild my TS4 save file with notable families (Altos, Pleasants, Broke family, Langeracks, etc.) and orchestrating their relationships and interactions with some of the newer TS4 families.
