Yeah man, I miss it. I think a lot of it just had to do with the life state of many people from back then, living with your parents, going to school, gaming with friends. It really was a safe/happy time for man, which is what makes this type of nostalgia so great. Glad you enjoyed it!

@@blackmamba___ Yes! Me and my friends, we play a game called Deadside, still pretty new and it definitely has it´s flaws, but it has a small Clan scene, which I have expierence with myself. It is a pretty different game from rust tho (I only placed rust pretty recently and not a lot). The community in Deadside is mixed, meet very nice people on there and very unfriendly. If anyone wants to check it out, it´s on steam for ~20€. Hope to maybe see some new players :)

Hey Laxer, Really appreciate the kind words. As well as the fact that you know there's a lot more then meets the eye for the content I produce. I think it's very common for viewers to think some videos are very easily made or there isn't much time that goes into it, or they could do it better lol. I know because I had a similar mindset on watching RU-vid videos for the past 10 years, in doing it myself now I can really appreciate others content, and my own knowing it takes a lot of time to continue to improve on the quality and production value. It's only going to get more interesting since around 2019 is when clan scene saw a boom in drama and egos lol.

@@nick9602 I'm not proud of any of that. I'm not proud of the ego I developed when playing this game and being so good at it. Appreciate the kind words; but just remember that you're missing out on nothing. Playing and succeeding in Rust can develop habits of resistance and resilience though, something I took forward into the corporate world when I turned 18 in 2018. A lot of people don't do the same though, they develop addiction. Nevertheless, some of the people I met while playing have been some of the most inspiring, loyal and amazing people I've ever met in my life, and changed me forever. I will forever be grateful. That's crazy yeah the longer you play you'll learn about the stories passed down by the last clans. It's like the Jedi Order after the fall, it's pretty cool to have that type of history feel in a game.

@@JackShephardTV Unfortunately the OCE scene started to fizzle out a bit with the death of Rustralasia in 2017 (.iO, Who?, .org, sW and some others all quitting). TGB disbanded/took a break in mid 2017 which led to nM being made (led by Tesla and Tacularr) and we got some new faces like YTB (massive zerg) and Loyl (led by Motion) towards the end of 2017 but there simply wasn't enough competition so people started moving to US in 2018. Tesla/Tac and some nM guys went to Neeko's group, some people went to IB and I personally was convinced by a teammate to go play in Cassie's group for a little while before I eventually quit from mid 2018 till 2020. There were still some PVP groups left in AU like Ri, Trigga's group and some lesser experienced clans but I didn't really keep up to date with it all once I had quit. This was around the time you started doing your rankings on OCE so if you've still got access to those hopefully they can give you all the insight you need. If you ever do a deeper dive into each region individually i'd be happy to give you some insight/get some siN guys in your discord. 2016 was the peak for OCE imo and the competition was pretty unreal for such a small region. Cheers for all the effort you've put into these, looking forward to part 2!
