I'm an ashkenazi jew and I honestly cried during this video both due to their past and present struggle and due to the heartwarming feeling of them being in Israel. There defenetly are some levels of prejudice and discrimination but mainly coming from the old generations of ashkenazi jews that are unable to go past the major differences and still consider them for what they are. Jews that were displaced and lived in Ethiopia. But the younger generations are way past this nonsense and the only remaining group that will preserve this atuff are the young religious fanatics that absorbed their parents believes like sponges instead of developing their own opinions. (And fortunately they are a minority, even if compared to Ethiopian jews) A major difference that can be seen as related to unjust dynamics is actually the economic one. Even though ashkenazi jews lived more severe persecutions they still lived in richer countries and many of them found a way to rise above the line of poverty, while jews that lived in Arab and North African countries and in Ethiopia didn't had this opportunity. And if you bring all these different groups in one place to live they will still be in a similar or even worse situation since they left everything they had in those countries and came to Israel only with the clothes they were wearing. And from that it has only been 50 years.
