Hey guys so today I'm installing a very rare set of Depo LED tail lights onto Letisha's Evo X MR.
once she found out these Smoked with red se tioms was an option she was very keen to hunt a set down which she was very lucky to find in Japan.

i'm going back and forth between a 2012 MR or a 2011 GSR. the GSR prices here in switzerland are just insane right now. most decent condition stock GSRs go for 36k+ while the SST ones go for under 26k. i love manuals because i always had subies previously. my daily is a 2023 VW Tiguan R and if the SST shifts feel anything like the VW dual clutch, it's going to be the better choice for our mountain roads. thanks for all your great videos, they have me more on the MR side 😅

The VW dsg is a fair but newer tech but ultimately they still feel similar. The SST once flashed is great though

The red EVO looks nice, I enjoy my white with the black tails and such, but red looks really nice. I'm a fan of silver, and the blue as well. Black not so much as in the EVO

I definitely know the grind of finding a set of tail lights that haven't had that corner broken off 😅 With the Lancer i had the original red lens tail lights and spent ages trying to find clear lens lights that weren't damaged or over priced. Now it's trying to find Depo smoked lights with the clear indicator for the Ralliart 😂

I wouldn't recommend anything other than a custom tune from a reputable tuner.

If I ever go built engine I'd likely go aftermarket ECU but unfortunately my tuner AK Racing doesn't do Syvecs

@@jasonsmith914i think they advertise the Motec ECU on their website off memory. Though i definitely know RPMotorsports uses Syvecs ECU
