In terms of the government overreach: that kind of intrusion is why good people don’t run for office. Simple as that, and the fact that the PA game commission rarely releases dates or times for meetings is ridiculous and what’s more ridiculous is when a game or fish warden won’t stand up for what’s right because after all, it’s all about protecting your pension, forget about what you know is wrong and speaking up about it. Good pod boys!

Many states are outlawing the use of drones on state managed lands. The reason why is still a mystery in most states. Some states require a permit if you are planning to post the video. So it will be interesting to see where the laws end up on all of it. Its a great tool that should be allowed, especially for this purpose.

Great show guys - I have watched a few of his drone deer videos and they are awesome. BTW Jared's velvet buck is called Cryptorchid - I was a part of killing one in New Mexico a few years back - very cool - much rarer in whitetails than mule deer.

This is the first I've heard of drone & hunter harassment. I believe this has to do with scouting and the possibility of using it in the act of hunting. I truly believe in Ohio. You have a few individuals in charge of the DNR coming up with the vast majority of all the regulation changes. Like you mentioned, they make these public meetings as inconvenient as possible to attend

Drone Deer Recovery now has a waiver/agreement that must be signed by the hunter prior to the search. In that waiver/agreement the hunter must agree not to pursue the deer until the following day. This is important in my State for instance because drones may not be used to "take, pursue, or harass wildlife". DDR does not use the drone to in any way to actively assist to take, pursue or harass wildlife. Drone Deer Recovery is a reputable brand setting the standard.

Morals, ethics and laws: Morality and ethics. Proper shot placement and finding and recovering the deer as fast as possible. Laws, as much as i love them for hunting they are not always in line with the moral and ethics. However still better than the mass majority laws. If you can use drones do so if you cant it’s irrelevant, if you can use them and find it cheating then i hope you are not using anything less than your bare hands. If you find it unmoral of unethical for you than do not use one. But it should be a choice.
