I tried to explain to many people. That is not Mosley fault. If you watch what they did all season long. He did exactly what he was suppose to do. The only way this play gets defended. Is Ward can read Hill cut. KC has gone big plays off Wasp several times this year. But switch Hardman into Hill spot. I'd post the link here in a few.

AFAIK the Wasp play is basically a dagger concept with the clear out man running a fake post corner route as the main read instead of the dig. Hence why the corner and Mosley went for the man on the dig route and not Hill, because the QB usually doesnt have enough time in the pocket to even consider throwing to the clearout receiver and very few could make that throw in the first place

I think even if Hill would have kept running at that angle, he would have blew right by Ward down the right side of the field.

This is by far the best breakdown I have seen on what we did to win the title. Sad it took me this long to stumble upon it. Would love it if you could do a small video on why our defense is giving up over 30 points the last couple of games. It will most likely be the biggest hurdle to us repeating from last year. Great work!

So I've always wondered, why don't DBs just press the receiver and disrupt the flow of the route for the first 5 yards especially if they have help behind them

No way.... In this situation it's 3 and 15. There is no reason to be up tight. In this situation your playing the sticks. They need a first down. Your hope is to make them throw it short and make a tackle. It's basically what every single team in the NFL has done for about the last 25 years. Patrick Mahomes is basically going to make teams re think this tactic. But back to bump and run defense. Travis, Hill and Hardman. You could only bump them for so long. Just think of Richard Sherman getting burned on an inside release by Watkins (on the next drive). That's the danger you put on your cornerbacks.

"Bosa lines up outside of the left tackle. He tries to win with an inside move. The left tackle, Eric Fisher, takes Bosa where he wants to go. It appears to be holding from the broadcast angle, but if you look closely, Bosa uses his right arm as he’s trying to get upfield and puts it over Fisher’s right arm to disengage. @@jaypike5424 -- No problem. The REAL infraction on this play was 'illegal use of hands to the head' by SF's #91 against Chiefs RG #76, but of course when that is pointed out, it just gets ignored by those wanting a holding call on this play.

@@alexandervarga6949 it's iffy at best. It's because Patrick drop is so damn deep. For that to be called a straight up hold is Bosa goes down to the ground. But it your complaining about that. You should be complaining about both sides. And in my opinion, it's a damn even game. There are false starts and play clock flags that weren't called. SF lost that game. Someone has to.

@@jeebs9 - Flags didn't cost the game - Kyles horrible 4th quarter play calling did that. However, do not excuse the refs. I would rather see correct calls made than allow the rules be obviously broken like that. Should have had false starts and delay of game and helmet to helmet against jimmy. These plays change the game both ways.

I'm a 49ers fan and yes it was a great play but by any means was it a miracle only reason that they got the play off was because the refs didn't call not 1 holding call on the chiefs at all when they lead the league in holding calls you can clearly see that bosa and Buckner was held all game and even on that play

nuvigroovi Watch the QB School's vid on this play. He's a former Niner QB and addresses the Bosa part. He said it wasn't a clear/textbook hold, but a "tweener" and could go either way. Since Bosa wasn't dragged down the ref wouldn't see it as a hold.

I'm sure the content of this video is great but I can't get more than a minute in with the voice that this guy is using. Just talk to me like a normal human being, use your normal voice. You don't have to talk...like this...with every....thing you're saying. Just pretend you're talking to a friend at the bar or something. Look at how brett kollman speaks during his videos, it's super casual and normal, and makes for better content than whatever this voice you're using is. Just my two cents
