The effect used on the man is a reflective texture that comes prebundled with Unreal 5, it's for use with windows and mirrors, kind of like a frosting effect on bathroom windows, a strange effect can occur when the lighting is set high and that is object "behind" the texture will vanish, its good to see a glitch being used for something constructive in a indie game!
I actually expect all the anomalies just right there. Just not show up when not needed. Like a woman behind the door just there but the door closed. Or the twin just right bellow the floor. Or the creey painting just inside the wall...
This looks like a fun little puzzle game! As another person mentioned, the man with the distorted face is most likely using a custom shader. If you look closely, you can tell it's a screen-effect shader which shifts some of the surrounding pixels from the world into the head, and then does some random distortions, probably using a normal map of some kind. Such effects are often used for shockwave explosion effects in other games.
Hey you probably won't see this but I like the slipping out of the map video u did on COD world at war can u maybe make one on the zombies in spaceland map on infinite warfare? That theme park has lots of detail it's crazy! It would be a awesome video
While not unreal engine specific, that bubble effect looks like a distortion layer probably powered entirely by shader code or something to do with bad culling checks

I guess something did happen at the corridor before Exit 8. The office guy might actually stalked the player and something horrible happened before the player reached Exit 8. Now the ghost of the player kept wandering there trying endless way to reach the light.
I've completed this game loads of times but occasionally i fail but for some reason it's always Exit 7 i'm paranoid that the game does it on purpose because i very rarely fail.
Can you consider doing how granny works in Granny or granny chapter 2? I tried to investigate myself and I believe she’s teleports otherwise I have no idea how she moves so fast
