You know one day they’re going to put Ryan Gosling and Ryan Reynolds in the same movie, they’re both funny, handsome, Canadian, hell they can do a remake of Face/Off with those two 😂

Sad how stunt people are still somehow underappreciated in the industry so it was quite breath of fresh air to see a wonderful fun movie dedicated to the stunt people and the world that they live in. I still don't see why the Oscars should wait so long to add a "Best Stunt" category to their award show

Ryan Gosling’s character in the movie Drive (2011) was also a stunt driver. Such an underrated movie because most were expecting a Fast and furious heavily focused on driving, but it was more dark with Gosling being a near silent anti hero.

I can't wait for inevitable director's cut where Ryan Gosling looks like Beevis the whole movie.

It's great that Ryan Gosling hasn't had a miss with comedic roles. With Crazy Stupid Love, the underrated The Nice Guys, Barbie, and now The Fall Guy, this man can literally do anything with such a perfect charisma and chemistry with the cast members 🙌

I'm in the opposite of Martin in this, this movie feels refreshing, all this time, lota action movies making action scenes just to make their characters look bad ass, but this movie is doing the opposite, the action scenes gave more comedic effect. Also, all the characters, even the villains, got a unique sense of humor to each of them, I'm really enjoyed watching this movie😂

Anyone remember Ryan Gosling in Young Hercules tv series from the late 90's? Not to mention actor Kevin Smith who portrayed Ares The God Of War from Hercules, Xena and Young Hercules died from a freak accident while filming a movie back in 2002 he was only 39 years old. 😢⚔🙏📺

You really hit it in regard what sets this Ryan from Reynolds in that they do play the same type except Gosling feels more natural in being charming & comedic. All the marketing for this movie has been great to show off how awesome being in Stunts really is

The classic Gene Kelly film SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN featured a wonderful sequence about the stuntman in early silent films. Buster Keaton famously used to do his own stunts as well.

I think it’s refreshing to have a romantic comedy in which both leads are close together in age and both in their 40’s haha

6 Million Dollar Man was a lil before my time being an 80s baby but Fall Guy I loved as a kid. Was one of the action shows like Knight Rider and A Team that kids would like watching w their parents. This looks fun even my step daughter wants to see it especially after seeing Gosling in Barbie. He might be more popular know than he ever was.

Got to watch this with my dad. He grew up watching the original series and he loved this remake. We had a blast pointing out all of the references and easter eggs.

I guess I should have seen it coming when the movie tries to be slick and talks about the 3rd act problems and how to be lazy about it... Gosling was awesome though But, I am very curious of what people think about one thing. The villain's girlfriend, plays the second main character in the movie inside this movie. She is clearly right next to him when he murders the stunt man in the video... why is she still in the movie at the end of this and not in jail? Is this a plot hole? Or is the movie taking a jab at a horrible person being allowed to be in a movie with Jason Momoa even though she is clearly a horrible person in real life? (Amber Heard in real life, Teresa Palmer's character in this movie, in case that needed clarification)

It was definitely a cool, fun movie that had the action, humour, romance and stunts in all the right places. The editing and pacing made it feel different than normal cookie cutter action/comedy movies which was cool. I don't know if it's because of Ryan's kind of aloof personality or the script but I would've liked to have felt more emotionally invested in his character. Hollywood seems to have forgotten how to make audiences love characters. Remember how much you loved Axel Foley in Beverly Hills cop or Bruce Willis in Die Hard or Mel Gibson in Lethal Weapon? I know this is a modern take on the action/comedy genre but I miss the personality of the older movies.

Funny Metal Storm is a real B movie that came out after Star Wars. It's absolutely terrible. This movie is witty and not annoying in its 3rd wall breaking meta commentary about the industry. The action is incredible and the comedy works. I laughed throughout, as did my mostly male audience. The story could be better, but this is about explosions and stunt falls.

35:17 "Theres no stunt setpiece that's going to be highly memorable." Then why make a movie that's supposed to be paying tribute to stuntmen? Why not do some great, memorable stunts (especially since the Director is a stuntman)? Why half ass stunts in a movie that's meant to idolize them? The best stunt in the movie is not even from this movie, its the clip from The Rundown.
