Marcia is now my doctor...this is so weird. Of course I knew about The Fall and I've heard their music but I never put 2 and 2 together! So good to see her rocking out and looking as 'ethereal' as she still does!

Forget Stevie Nicks, Joan Jett and Kristin Hersh (though I still like them all). Brix Smith is the biggest female rock icon as far as I'm concerned, especially after watching this and the solo in the 'Cruisers Creek' video.

Barry, I have met Brix twice and she is every bit as amazing in real life as she is here. She is lovely.

@@samanthabithell1778 That doesn't surprise me Samantha because I've seen loads of her interviews. Brix and the Extricated are superb too and some of their songs are on my playlist because they're so catchy. I love The Fall though because you see their beauty by finding things out yourself by listening to their albums and doing your own research like I did rather than waiting for DJs or music papers to say something good about them like most media--driven people would do. They just encourage free thinking and being yourself but secretly for 42 years without banging on about it like other bands do which totally resonates with me. The same applies to human beings in a funny way, don't listen to other people or the masses, just find things out yourself. It's not rocket science
