So fucking great! Music as well as the white anti-fashion outfit. Honestly, for me, it’s the best group ever. Same league as the Beatles , although it’s difficult to compare of course... ;-) R.I.P. Mark (“We are the Fall and we are the best...”)
I saw it on TV at the time. The Fall were supporting Philip Boa. Hence the bored audience, maybe. Later, Boa got a beer mug emptied on him and left the stage for a while. The audience was pretty bad and Mark seemed frustrated himself. The Fall had the balls to show up late in a show that was live on TV. He was a tough interviewee after the show, as well. For me, though, that show opened the door to the wonderful and frightening world of The Fall. In hindsight I liked most songs better on the albums. The ballet dancer was brilliant, though, bizarre but fascinatingly creative.
