Lived in PA all my life and been to Hanover several times but never heard of this hot dog place. Bobbie, I bet you were crying 😂with joy over all those onions. Now that's how you put chopped onions on a chili dog. Nothing beats the smell of when you first open a bag of plain Utz's chips. When my brother lived in Junction City, KS just off I-70 we had to take Utz Chips, Middleworth's BBQ chips, Tasty Cakes, Seltzer's sliced lebanon bologna and ring bologna. My mom would get dry ice. TSA loved viewing that bag. Safe travels.❤

Lived in a 20 mile radius of the place all my life . The hotdog with egg didnt used to be on the menu back in the day . We called it a gut buster when we ordered it lol . And like 1 comment says , nothin has changed there in YEARS . If it aint broke dont fix it 🎉🎉🎉😊

I'm local here all of my life. We always tell them to go light on the onion. You need to try their chili cheese fries if you come up here again. It's a meal by itself. And absolutely delicious.

I could use some prayers for surgery on Mon the 11th of December, a fairly major surgery for mesh removal from a failed hernia repair years ago. Definitely want to wake up with a smile on my face.😄

UTZ is great love them but GRIPPOS IN Cincinnati is king UTZ is great they also have Hanover pretzels plant that make there chips to . Your pretzels plant is king . Cinnamon chips from Hanover is better .

My relatives live in Hanover. Good restaurant but we tend to like Texas Hot Lunch downtown a little better. Utz chip factory is a good place to visit. You need to visit The Turkey Hill Experience about 50 minutes from there. You can make your own ice cream & get all kinds of samples along with making a commercial for the ice cream you make. Really cool experience

Didn't know Utz made Zappos, great potato chips. Famous Weiner looked really good. If I ever get to Hanover it will be a must do. Great video, ordinary folks eating ordinary food instead of some crazy stuff.

I'm sorry but Bonnie's so-called hamburger should have been called an onion burger because oops they forgot the hamhurger, that meat was so thin they want you to ask for a double so they can double the price! 100 years of burgers without a hamburger bun, come on guys that joint hasn't been your best.

I like onion but that is nuts. Would rather have less onions on there but caramelized on the grill for the hot dog. Also a wheat or multi-grain bun would give more flavor. Starch white bread not much to it even if you toast the bun.

Vegetable soup looked good. I would do hot dog with onions. I like the shop and buttered popcorn. I like crunchy hot dogs.

When you were at the Utz store, I hope John got the Zapp's Voodoo potato chips. those are the best chips I've ever had in my life.

We drove right past there yesterday. I love their hot dogs...they use Kunzler Franks. We always take a quart of the chili home. Looks like you were coming from Gettysburg. I live right off Rt. 116, so you passed right by my home. Snyder's Pretzel/ Campbells Outlet Store is also in Hanover.

Utz red hit chips are fantastic. Unfortunately, most stores dont carry that flavor.

I've a friend who works at Utz, he vends at cons. He gives me snacks. Lolz

Like John I like a crunchy casing on a hot dog. There is a place in West Chester PA called Jimmy John's (NOT the chain) who is famous for these dogs. People travel for miles for them. They have been in business for 70 or 80 years. Started out as a little stand along the road. Famous for their trains. Next time you are in Lancaster County PA this is fairly close. I highly suggest you try it. Nearby is Longwood Gardens & a little farther south is Herrs potato chip factory. Both have wonderful Christmas displays. 13:45

The best hangover food I ever ate

I been to the York location since I have family there. I enjoy a good sheep casing “ Hut-Dog” with the snap & pop! They certainly are generous with the toppings. Like “Ernie’s in downtown Gettysburg that is also family owned and they serve casing weiners as well.

Well John guess what I’m having for breakfast? A hotdog with egg. Out of chili though. We have some of the best hotdog joints anywhere in Jersey so I can see this place is legit! I’d be a regular if I lived close by for sure! Stay safe with the big storm coming our way this weekend!

We had a place like this in Danbury Ct called Jks famous weiners.. was in business for along time .the sons got sick of it and sold. And the morons that bought it said they'd keep it the same but lied and made it a joke ... me and my friends miss JKs so badly we will be driving up from danbury ct CANT WAIT

You always go to such interesting places. I live in the Midwest. In Illinois, a popular eating place was the Dog 'n Suds. It had wonderful coney dogs. I compare all coneys with theirs. I haven't had "snapping" hot dogs. Merry Christmas!
