So glad I found you on here after looking up the fast 800. You seem so lovely and are so easy to listen to, and you're very personable. Really proud of you for starting up again :) My husband and I had great success doing the fast 800 together for 10 weeks last year. As he has type 2 diabetes and we were both overweight , this worked. During Christmastime we both fell of the wagon, or rather rode it at great speed down the hill and crashed off :D I didn't gain all the weight back, but I could see bigger pants once more in my future ;) I purchased the fast 800 easy cookbook after you recommended it, and made the cardamom chicken for our dinner tonight and we all loved it! Bless you for sharing! You've really encouraged me. Looking forward to next week's update.
Thank you so much for the lovely message. It’s really motivating to hear from someone who had success over a longer period. It’s so easy to gain a bit over Christmas - we all do it! Glad you enjoyed the cardamom chicken 🙂 xx
I'm just starting out with week 1 of fast 800, i wish you'd restart your fast 800 vlog, as someone who weighs 225lbs its so great to see someone normal take on the challenge ❤❤❤
Hi! How are you finding the Fast 800? I’ve just restarted so will be uploading updates again. There’s quite a few people who are doing the Fast 800 in the comments, you’re welcome to join us 🙂
If you are doing the Fast800, you need to be organised and plan ahead, as there's a lot of meal prep. Most people fail on the program, because of that. It's a great way to learn the benefits of eating only a whole food diet.
I gained 20 lbs through Coronavirus stress. I am doing 800 calories a day and i lose 14 lbs, with out exercise. I am trying to lose last 6 lbs more . It is very hard, but i think i still can do and you can too.
Wow, that’s amazing! I think a lot of us found the lock down tough, I was stress eating for sure! You’ve done so well already, I’m sure you’ll be at your target in no time xx
Well done with your progress so far! I'm glad that you weren't too hard on yourself from having your fish and chips, we're all human and comfort food is sometimes what is needed - especially when you're unwell :) looking forward to watching your other videos
Congratulations Emma on your journey so far. Your honesty and openess is REALLY helping me too with my weight loss. So for that, THANK YOU very much. I love how you share the pitfalls as well as the high points. I'm definitely with you on this journey even though for my own personal reasons I am not able to do the FAST 800 but I'm following another healthy eating plan and like you it's going well. I set myself a realistic goal of 1.5-2lb a week because over the month it all adds up. Sending you super smiles and can't wait to hear the next update. Take care and hope you are fully recovered now.
Hi Nina, nice to hear from you, I'm so happy you're finding my videos helpful! I've tried so many plans over the years, it's just finding the one that works best for you and it sound like you have 🙂. Losing weight is definitely the hardest thing I've ever tried to do so we can all help motivate each other no matter which diet we're following. Good luck with your journey xx
Hey Emma, you’re looking stunning! Wow you have done SO well. I’m really sorry to hear you were sick, that sucks so much, especially when trying to do this. Amazeballs that you stuck to it, congrats! And the fish and chips is totally normal comfort food, I feel you. Inspiring that you got back to it the next day. I am also on week 3, but I’m calling it week 2 because the first week was kind of just a prep and I went away camping the weekend. But I ate a lot of rubbish and, like you, the day I got back I just went straight into fast 800 mode and I lost all the weight within a day (probably just water anyway). It always helps to just get straight back into it and not feel all guilty about breaking out briefly. Thank you so much for the tip on eating the same things not being helpful - I’m actually at a frustrating plateau where I’m weighing the same for days, so maybe I should mix it up a bit more on my recipes. ALSO, thanks a mil for your cardamom chicken shout out last vid, I went and made it and loved it! I’m going to try the granola now. Ooh, also, if you eat beef, the Asian beef salad is divine! I don’t eat a lot of meat but I decided to branch out a bit and it was so easy to make and delicious. Ok wow this is an essay, sorry!! Good luck with your next week, keep going - it’s working, you look great and I bet it speeded up your recovery time too. All the best to you, looking forward to the next vid :)
Hi Emma! I really enjoy your content. I have been looking at this program and have digital copies of the books. Do you mind sharing what you’ve chosen as your eating window and whether you’ve chosen to eat 2 or three meals? You’re doing great!
Hi Kathy, I find eating 3 meals in a small fasting window works best for me. I try to eat between 10am and 6pm if I can, I sleep better when I eat earlier too. I’m quite flexible, if there is a meal I want to have that’s higher in calories then I might have 2 meals that day xx
