Incredibly as it seems,it's more on point to pronounce some words with "t" as "r"(like "auromaric","starren"(for "starting"),etc…),or "ch",so good the innovation on the English language these games has brought
@@BenJabituya, you'll find his name in the Mortal Kombat 3 series outro, aka ending credits. Jon Hey did the Drift and Super Cars music and he is the original voice of Raiden in MK1 up to Trilogy.
@@erikflynn3376 Jon Hey also voiced one of the drivers in Cruis`n Exotica. I don`t know which one though, they didn`t say, but probably the cowboy and maybe also the Aussie surfer guy.
This and arctic thunder were the most popular games at the arcade when i was a kid, both games were in a set of 2 and we would get competitive as hell playing them 😂
It takes a total of 20 upgrades to max one car out & 320 upgrades across all 16 cars in this game to offically max them all out. It all comes down to Math: 20 upgrades × $1.00= $20 × 4 quarters= 80 quarters 20 upgrades × $0.75= $15 ×4 quarters= 60 quarters 20 upgrades × $0.50= $10 ×4 quarters= 40 quarters All 320 upgrades × $1.00= $320.00 × 4 quarters 1,280 quarters, 320 × $0.75=$240.00 × 3 quarters= 720 quarters, 320 × $0.50= $160 × 2 quarters= 320 quarters plus another 50 cents/2 quarters if a machine says $1.00 to start & $0.50 to continue like at the NJ Shore @ Ocean City's Hollywood arcade, which went from 6 to 4 machines because of the conversion of the 2 to Tokyo Drift minus a few Bucks for the upgrades already in place unlocking secret cars. Be sure to save up cash while some real arcades still carry this game.
@@Jiterdomer The best ending of this game is when you try to get first using all combinations possible and in pacific way during a year,it's what I do,soon I'll try to make Google Keep documents with check marks and I'll challenge everyone to clean all combinations in pacific way within a year and when it's over, uncheck them all for the next year!!!!!!!
Fun fact. You can actually change the resolution if you want by adding "-res 12 (insert resolution here) to the target of a shortcut to the executable. I think max resolution you can do is 1600x1200. It completely breaks the UI but the graphics look a lot better.
Lol I spent all my money on just this one game no lie never even got off the cabinet just beating everyone on manual transmission .I would just save my nitrous till the last starightaway and smoke any kids adults or even the cpu if nobody came up to play always was in 1st
What stinks about this game is the lack of content. NFS: U - ARC has Career Mode with 81 races and free races to play, but FnF only has like 12-ish races. Yeah, SuperCars has new ones with TD's and SB's tracks, but thats about it.
Tokyo Drift and Super Cars are both different in regards to patch work. Super Cars feels slow at times and PS4 like for the trophies while all stray cars are safe to backflip off of as long as both player 1 and 2 contact the same stray cat about a second apart and watch for glitches off backflips on certain locations. Tokyo Drift for the Drift Tour leading to the legendary Tour Bonus was the best thing about that series.
Am I the only one who thought the movies were based on the videogame and not the other way around? I could've sworn an entire videogame franchise came first in the 90s.
Well, at least you can play it on your computer now. Maybe it even works with a wheel. You can also still find some arcade cabinets around the world. I've seen one in a bowling center in Dunstable, UK some years ago.
I don`t EVER remember this being at Chuck E Cheese when I went. They mostly had this in cinema lobbies as a means of promoting the movie when it came out, but they also had it at lots of other venues, too, including CEC`s more adult-oriented counterpart Dave and Buster`s. The only licensed arcade games I remember being there when this came out were Nicktoons Racing and Star Wars Podracer.
It is kinda sad that there will never be another Fast & Furious game that's purely a racing game. They're always gonna have gimmicks that tie in with the spy motif of the newer films. Yeah, these were nothing more than Cruis'n ripoffs, but they're still some of the better F&F games (which in hindsight, is sad to say).

It's made by the same dev team behind that game. It was even rebranded as a Cruis'n game when it was ported to the Wii over licensing issues regarding the movie rights
