Vanguard, Fidelity, Scwab, M1, Robinhood, Webull, and many other all offer "free" trading. If you are paying $8 per trade, I strongly encourage you to look into a different brokerage, perhaps one that is up with the times on trading fees.

ABR is up 12.75% in the last month and they just raised their dividend and have a history of raising dividends with the current yield at 11.75%. With the 17% short, it gave me opportunity to buy the stock undervalued. Also ABR was just included in the small cap 600 index.

For options trading you need at least 500 to start, but if you don't know what you're doing you'll take a huge loss on that. As for dividend investing you spend a bunch of money just to say for example you'll get $100 back a month, but in order to get that return you had/ have to put for example $250,000 In stocks. Way too much money spent for such a small return
