I thought you were flashing images of those guys on purpose as some sort of secret - the first one I paused for looked like the dude on the right was balancing a white plastic bag on his foot.
"Can't think of a moveset for Light Yagami, so he's not playable." Sakurai: *Laughs in Duck Hunt, Mr. Game and Watch, R.O.B. Wii Fit Trainer, and Villager*
@@oORoxas13Oo Then make him a trap and counter based character. Have him write things in his death note and misfortune befalls people that walk in a certain area.
@@oORoxas13Oo Phoenix Wright wins court cases by using evidence and getting to the suspect mentally in order for them to admit to the crime.. yet they added him into fighting games and games that are really far from his original game's premise.
I was originally gonna buy Jump Force when the trailers for Jotaro and Dio came out. But after I found out how much of a hot mess Jump Force is, I decided against it in the end
I cant believe they didn't include Danny from Phantom Blood in the roster How can you call it an anime fighter without the single greatest fighter of all
I think Johnathan and Pucci would have been better choices for the starting roster for 2 main reasons. 1. Johnathan was the first Jojo and Pucci was the last jofoe while jojo was still being published in sohen jump. 2 . White Snake would be annoying af.
If they made DLC characters, they would either be Jonathan and Joseph (because they were in J Stars Vs) or Giorno Giovanna (because of, well, you know, the freaking Vento Aureo anime). If they wanted to insert a Jojo villain, then the most likely choices would be either Kira since heì's one of the most popular villains or Diavolo, but only after Vento Aureo will get fully adapted.
This game losses a lot of opportunities for interactions, for example Jotaro asking Yugi what type of STAND is Black Magician, or Asta asking Deku what magic is that or Deku asking Asta what quirk is his. Disappointing, but I need a JoJo game. Oh wait, that's the same but with different characters
"0/10. It really makes you feel like they didn't want to put Speedwagon in there, and we weren't paid enough to say nice things about it." --IGN, probably.
I agree the gameplay was really well made and addictive, and the Koma System is such a creative method to select characters. Also it had WAY MORE VARIATION of Jump franchises, with things lime Kinnikuman, Shaman King and even Slam Dunk
Breaking out of combos randomly and for no reason is good design. It is just trying to tell players that combos are meaningless and their only option is to use spammy attacks that can’t be HSC. Who would actually want to do COMBOS IN A FIGHTING GAME? Nobody. Controlling your fighting games are a thing of the past. Games that play themselves are the future.
Bloo Rhapsody I don’t understand this comment. As someone that has played the game I never gotten out of a combo randomly, and the other stuff you said makes no sense either.
For those who want to play Jojo All-star battle, there's a mod that makes it more like HFTF, by adding more moves, counters, move cancels and ect. I don't remember the name but just search for Jojo All-star battle mod. Found the name "Jojo All-star battle:Over Heaven"
@@themysteriousstranger7692 From all the Naruto Characters they chose THAT ONE a character that not even the fans like that much (it should have been Guy or Lee or Itachi)
I mean some games aren't even fun with friends. The idea is that you can laugh at the game with your pals. I wouldn't buy it though. Especially at 60$ for such a boring game.
It's not that the graphics are bad I mean look at the backgrounds and effects it's just that they didn't bother to adapt the art styles for these graphics
About your ASB point if you want to play it it's way deeper than you think, there is an entire discord dedicated with some really good players. It's easier to find players that way
EX Falchion I really doubt you tried to understand the mechanics because you would know high speed counter can be easily high speed dodge and even then you can panic out of it so it’s not really that effective
@@EXFalchion Those characters are REALLY hard to master tough, i mean Johnny literally can barely move (Ironicaly he is OP when the CPu uses him) I'll reccomend you to try Jonathan, Gyro or Ceaser
@@justdude8589 I can Picture that exact same scene but with Jotaro and DIO with everyone else just standing there, not wanting to get into this sinking boat
Man if they gave me the job to write the story I'd literally binge watch all these animes to understand the characters and make a way better fanservice game
Oh so it's like the naruto games where you can just press R1 on reaction to counter your opponent? Also holy shit blackbeard doesn't even have the courtesy of walking offscreen before the scene ends.
So this is basically Xenoverse but on shitty coffee that gives you volatile dhiarrea and nausea for 7 hours then sleep paralysis when you try to sleep?
i can think of a moveset for light, it would just take me a bit. He could be a fighter like Phoenix Wright was in MVC3 where you walk around getting details about the fight. Maybe incorporate shiguraki's style of fighting from My Hero One's Justice where hitting them X times kills them. But here he would send Ryuk out multiple times to hit them. Maybe knock stuff like an ID, or some clue about them off their person. Doing this and gathering a certain amount of items could lead to using a super that you can choose 4 different ways to kill them. There are things you can do with this, it's not impossible, just hard.
As a Piccolo main, I hate how bad he is. His Special Beam Cannon takes forever to use and doesn’t even deal more damage when you charge it all the way, his Hellzone Grenade takes forever to set up and you need to use it twice for it to deal decent damage, and if you get hit once it’s all gone. Fortunately Evil Assault and Light Grenade are his only viable moves. So yea big balancing issues.
I see your fighting game and raise you a JoJo Racing Game, each character with their own abilities: - Kakoyin in the Jeep he used to get away from Dio's mansion - Pucci riding Made in Heaven - Ghiaccio skating along the ground with his stand - Old Joesph in the car that got destroyed in the N'Doul fight - Dio in the backseat of The Seantor's Limo - Narancia riding Aerosmith - Hol Horse on an actual horse - Speedwagon in his speed wagon - Speedwagon Foundation Employee in a helicopter - Josuke "riding" an invisible bike while holding onto handlebars (bonus points if the finish line has a motorcycle at the end of it without handlebars) - Highway Go Go - Jotaro using Iggy to glide in the air - Kira driving an Ambulance - Johnny or Gyro riding on their horse - Diego in his Raptor form - Polnareff scooting his wheelchair *really fucking fast* - Vanilla Ice (whos just a floating orb with his face sticking out, maybe you cant see but you can turn really fast, but when you can see the track you cant turn) - Ultimate Kars flying in his bird form - Rohan on his motorcycle
That "Classy Reddit Posts" segment with Clair de Lune playing in the background just made the posts sound like lost hope, like people put in effort and got trash instead lol. It was an oddly dark introspection on the state of the online community.
i feel like one fatal flaw in this review is that you classify it as a fighting game while this game has combat elements, this game is supposed to be an arena fighter, not a fighting game all arena fighters have the problem of combos that feel repetitive, but most of the other complaints seem valid in general
13:50. What actually should had happend Jotaro: did you yast say the speed of sound and the speed of light Seiya: yes, what about it? Jotaro: SO IS THE SAME type of STAND AS STAR PLATINUM
@TrainerblueTube well yeah, but with these licensed games it's the best you can hope for, especially 3d arenas which haven't been nailed down as a subgenre the same way Tekken style 3d games have been since the only other major 3d arenas are equally unpolished anime games, Japan still doesn't believe in taking more than a week to make licensed games (with few notable exceptions but we still aren't at Batman Arkham/ Marvel Spiderman levels of triple A development like normal games being common) so the best a 3d arena can hope for is to have decent gameplay ideas that aren't fleshed out/balanced enough to really feel great.
I never got hyped for jump force because it looked like complete trash. Glad i was right. The first reveal and the complete product look the same and that is....bad
Hey it’s pretty alright. Gameplay is kinda shallow and the story mode is mainly cutscenes but it’s still overall a decent game. One of my favorite fighters (I quite clearly don’t play many fighters, but still)
Hey, I know you'll never see this, but just as a suggestion, can you try out Ultimate Muscle on Gamecube? It's based on the anime/manga series of the same name (Kinnikuman Nisei in Japan, Ultimate Muscle is what 4Kids named it for the English dub). There's also Galactic Wrestling featuring Ultimate Muscle on PS2, just in case you're wondering if it's on other systems. Also, you might be wondering why I'm asking this here, well Kinnikuman is a Jump property, and I'm upset that Suguru Kinniku, and Mantaro Kinniku went unnoticed in J-Stars and Jump Force.
