I had a neighbor in high school, he was a foreign exchange student from Bangkok. To make the story short we became inseparable he was my best friend. This takes me back because I’ve been obsessed with Thai culture asking him how to interpret Thai language to English for me. I haven’t seen him in person since he went back to Bangkok. But I am so happy we stay in touch

He moved to Finland when he was a child that being said he speaks finnish just like me, but I decided to learn some thai and hopefully surprise him and his family in positive way. I love Thai people, they are so sensitive and polite. It's funny but whenever I hear them speak I think they are enacting some play on stage. They seem to be so involved. This is not just a language, it's an emotion.
