Today is the first day of route 465 Transport UK operation. Route 465 now runs from Fulwell (TF) garage, Using existing Enviro 200 MMCs from route E7. Route 465 was operated by RATP, Operating from Tolworth (TV) garage, Using Enviro 200 MMCs.
Route 465 runs from Kingston, Cromwell Road Bus Station, To Dorking South Street. Via Eden Street, Surbiton Crescent, Surbiton Station, Hook Parade, Chessington World Of Adventures, Malden Rushett, Leatherhead Station, Mickleham, Dorking Station, and Dorking Town Centre.
Due to the closure of Cromwell Road Bus Station, Route 465 is currently terminating at Eden Street temporarily. The bus station will reopen in Summer.
Route 465 is jointly managed by TfL and Surrey County Council. The route is also the furthest TfL route from London. Route 465 is 15 miles (24 km) long. The route runs around every 30 to 60 minutes, From 5:15 to 0:33. A full journey takes around 50 to 80 minutes. Route 465 commenced operation on 28 June 1997. The route was replaced by route 481 between Kingston and Teddington in 2006. The route was proposed to be shortened at Leatherhead in 2017.
