what’s weird about ajax is that nothing really gives void vibes, it’s basically accumulating kinetic energy and reuse it / redirect it . acting like Black Panther’s suit
Well, ingame "The Void" is a place too. Maybe he's strengthened by the void, not a "Void Elemental". In a cutscene some enemies were transformed by a "Ironheart" relic, which has ties to the Void, and I think Ajax mentions coming back from the Void.

Warframe shills think DE are the pioneers of character design when there isn't even 1 unique frame. Everything copied from some other source with many being poorly executed. Atleast this game seems to get the execution part right
These videos are getting me more excited to try the game out for myself when it comes out, or hopefully get accepted into the beta. Keep up the good work, y'all.
It's pretty clear that these guys played A LOT of Warframe. You can link each one of these guys directly to their contemporary Warframe. I feel like this will make this game pretty easy to pick up, but from the reviews I've seen, they still have a lot of polish to put on this guy.
From everything I've seen it's like Warframe, Lost Planet, Mass Effect and Destiny inspired some portion of each part of this game. Maybe a little Outriders too but then that borrows from all the above as well
@@stefanlewis7773 It's not just character design, but also some of the mechanics. I know DE aren't pioneers in the field, but this game has some pretty clearly recognizable concepts found in Warframe.

I kinda hope there will later on appear a long distance class for people like me who enjoy playing as a support damage dealer to do major frack damage to stronger enemys or provide some scouting ability
Frack, Fl4k...I see some similarities there. A sniper would be a nice touch. But given the gameplay this vid shows, would it fit well? And what else would they bring besides sniping and such? I'm sure there will be more characters, no worries there. Korean game, 100% possible.
Well Jayber (the guy with the turrets) technically could/should be keeping his distance, standing by his turrets (particularly the healing one) since he lacks mobility (and barriers or defense/MAXhealth boosts) his healing turret is his best chance at survivability. So long distance weapons are wise (using range mods help the attack turret).
Valby is more of a supporter, with the water puddles she tosses around debuffing enemies to fire and electricity damage (like from Blair and Bunny's powers). She has a watery dash move that spreads more damaging/debuffing water, and can get her away for long distance weapons or teleport in to use close range and then teleport away. Also there's a radar button that lets you see where enemies are, and all of them can do that, so no need for a scouting ability from a single class.
Gley is a good sniper. You dont really need the Life Orbs unless you are getting hit or want to use the ult. You can go into Berserk and get your damage buffs as well as popping your infinite ammo every once in awhile. That skill makes Rocket Launchers and Sniper Rifles well worth it.
Some of this seems interesting and all but it would have been cool if these were classes instead of prebuilt characters, just for the added customization and all, might help me be more connected to the character overall. I hope there will be more options in the future because I really didn't see anything that made me say "yep, gotta play that one."
Great video and in depth review of each character. I wish they had gone with classes instead of pre-made characters with zero diversity though. Hopefully, they'll be some customization, so players won't all look exactly the same. I guess we'll see in the next beta...
All the descendants and their abilities do look cool no doubt, but none of them give me that WOW factor. The ultimates feel like they lack impact but I'll definitely play the beta to get a feel of how they play.
Same and I hate playing a premade characters. At least allow me to change sex. I was hoping for a huge amount of builds too, but nope... Don't know why these games lack on active abilities.
Has some cool concepts. Charactets look fun to play. Its f2p so I will give a shot when it drops. Ajax and Blair appeal to me the most as I like tanks and mages. They seem to be that.
i feel like too many of them are more close range focused. ajax's abilitys need more visual oomph to them, the particle effects are so miniscule and i dont get the sense of "void" from them. im interested in trying gley, when i heard beserker i expected a different kit entirely but i want to try it out anyways

Freyna and Gley will be my two mains. Hands down. I don't care that I mainly play tanks or snipers in games. Gley is hot, and Freyna is the closest hot character to what I normally play.
I want to master bunny and viessa. The quick and flashy electric girl and the crowd control ice girl. Lepic looks great too with his grenade variety and cannon ability 😁
Started with viessa and I think I’m gonna ask my wife to dye her hair white now. Having a lot of fun with this one. Only problem I have is I didn’t get anything else done lol game is super addictive. Gonna be sad when they take the beta away. Release this now! Seems ready to go if you ask me lol
From all the reviews I’ve heard this game shares every single one of the issues Anthem had on launch and I don’t understand why developers seem to be making the same mistakes with every new release as of late
There isn't and hasn't been any interesting for a while now and it's f2p so... The only way I can see it flop hard is if unreasonable mtx exist or if it's p2w.

Nobody wants to see that only 4 characters are free and the remaining (stronger ones) need to be paid for, same with weapons or runes (mods) Also of the grinding for something tales months that can also he considered p2w specially of its stuff required for harder content but can be instantly accessed with a credit card. If you like this kinda stuff, go play lost ark that game just lost like 98% of its playerbase because western people understood that Korea means Play 12h per day EACH day Or use 50% of your monthly income for the "free" to play game (more like game trial) But I'm curious, as long as the paid model is similar to warframe I'm interested.
Makes me wish even more that Outriders took off... Had a nasty Pyro that would snap his fingers and literally be killing monsters throughout the whole map
TLDR for warframe players Lepic: Vauban but less succ Viessa: The Frost rework we want Ajax: Rhino from warframe and Titan from destiny had a baby Gley: Selfish trinity + gunplay Valkyr (plus she has innate energized munitions) Blair: Ember but can’t summon meteors Bunny: Volt but his passive actually works and a DVA skin Sharen: Loki but more dps and electricity Jayber: Protea but can’t manipulate time Freyna: Saryn with a slightly smaller breast size Gley and Sharen are perhaps the two that i had a hard time finding an analogy and are the ones I am particularly excited for. Anthem, outriders, and warframe is where this game will be most compared against, anthem is a low bar to jump over but I am expecting the launch to be similar to outriders hopefully it won’t be and finally warframe though I love the game it’s not too high a bar to reach if this game can make itself evidently stand out it can be comparable to it as far as gameplay I can’t really see the resemblance other than the abilities and maybe movement but severely limited compared to what we have. Outriders in my opinion is still the better comparison or at least the most recent comparison. Looking forward to this but like outriders I won’t be playing on launch.
Eh...the succ is more zephyr 2 for me...But there's no doubt that the devs play too much warframe. It's basically Warframe DLC in some sort of way if I'm being brutally honest about it. Sharen for me is like female ash and jayber for me is like if vauban flechette orb (or minelayer) with protea turrets and some healing aspect added, to make it not just "potentially kinda direct reference".
