@@ProjectShopFl licenced only would have to be kept in the trunk, on your way to the range, restricted to non auto, no licence to carry, target shooting or pest control, locked in gun cabinet, we had two shootings which where by licenced gun holders and after that certain hand guns and so called assault rifles where outlawed , had many guns and sold all of them they where shipped to the US

as you are unrolling the spool to strip rig up another spool at end make the wire go thru something to sep the wire from housing and spool it back up stripped it works in my head

Wouldn't it be smarter to put that plate back on the shaft and put the 2 springs back on the edges of the plate so when you lifted your foot off the floor pedal the springs would retract the shaft up and maybe put a micro switch to shut off the motor ? Just a thought .

When you first described the plan, I mistakenly thought you were going to do a full duplex operation: Transmit and Receive at the same time. This video demonstrates (communication theory) half-duplex. Transmit the whole (message) load of un-stripped wire, then receive the whole (reply message) load of stripped wire. Have you considered building a full-duplex system? Unspool insulated and respool striped at the same time? Easy in digital computer logic; can you make it work in the clumsy mechanical world? PS, Circuit breakers are good!
Where do get so much copper wire??? I used to work for the Canadian armed forces as a civilian building and home renovation contractor on base. Every thing from carpentry to tiling to cabinetry aka general contractor. My point being I used to get qlot of old copper sheeting, pipe, wire and I used to get quite a bit but holy fuck nothing like you!!!
